ManageEngine ADAudit Plus Is an Excellent and Must Have Solution!
The ManageEngine ADAudit Plus has had a huge positive impact on our institutions security and monitoring capabilities. We have much more visibility to changes and logons than before which has helped multiple areas of the bank and tasks they were trying to complete or data they were looking to compile.

It does help detect some Active Directory threats in real time, I think this is one area that the app is lacking, but the alternatives cost 5x

It has helped us in monitoring and being compliant with our cyber security insurance. We are an MSP with access to thousands of customer devices so security is paramount for us. While we provide services and cyber security to customers we have to practice what we preach and protect our customers as well as ourselves.

ManageEngine -- Gets the job done!
Does what it needs to do -- but ManageEngine really just provides reporting on events that have already happened. It's useful for trends and reporting but does not (is not designed to) provide active threat mitigation.
No. We don't use ManageEngine for any real-time activities. The system is to look at long-term trends and evaluate potential threats. ManageEngine has no ability to stop threats in real-time -- and by the time we'd look at a report it, the damage would be done.

We don't have server monitoring.
This has provided us with logging where we did not easily have it and allowed us to greatly increase our security posture in terms of our ability to respond to and audit events after they happen.
Yes, this solution did. It made the expansion of our efforts in this area an easy deployment, taking not more than a few days of engineer time to get fully spun up and in a state we wanted.

Simple and Cheap AD Reporting.
From a user security and monitoring perspective, this tool is very helpful and easy to use. From a Window Server and operation, I see no changes to behavior. Over the course of 5 years, we have upgraded from Windows Server 2016 to 2019 and this year to 2022. Nothing changed in the backend functionality, reporting, or options in AdAudit.
Nothing has changed over time in any of the reporting and features we use in the product. We just noticed some of the reports have improvements in their cleanliness of reporting and bug fixes.

AdAudit tracks events on your network in real time.
ADAudit helps me uncover blind spots; it's helped with our Cybersecurity insurance policy. The reports are highly customizable and the visuals make it easy to decipher audits.
My entire team receives an alert any time changes are made on the network, giving us the ability to know and track all changes on the network.
The analytics have been great to see irregular logins and on devicesusers shouldnt be logging into.
