Teradata Vantage - very good choice
Teradata Vantage is used as an integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) that consolidates data from major systems in the company. Both batch and real-time (CDC, Kafka) integration patterns are used to load data into EDW. EDW has three standard layers - acquisition, integration, access. Transformations from acquistion to integration layer (and from integration to access) are implemented in database using SQL capabilities (ELT). EDW supports major analytical processes in the company - reporting, campaign management, fraud detection, customer value management. EDW also serves as one of the data sources for AI and maching learning activities.

Teradata Vantage in the Cloud
We use Teradata Vantage to analyse parcel event data, plus finance, customer reviews, transport movements and profitability. Our data is loaded every 5 minutes to the database. It is used to produce operational reports and alerts intraday, plus previous day's performance, and monitoring longer term performance trends. We also produce reports for our clients to inform them of their deliveries performance. The finance department use data to report on their data, and profitability data is used by account managers. The Teradata Vantage database performs well for us, and the cloud instance we use works without much intervention.

I like Teradata!
We are utilizing Teradata for multiple purpouses. We have about 15 different applications, 45 source systems and 25 output systems in use. We are having couple hundred reports in production, having Teradata as a main source of data.

Teradata Vantage In Review.
We use Teradata Vantage for query optimization and workload management. This would include message traffic, monitoring, error recovery, space management, as well as continuity in systems where loads and queries are happening all day. Users use it for BI reporting, forecasting, and analysis of the queries that are run on a 24/7 basis.

Teradata helps in enhancing the storage spaces, helps in protecting data in layers with encryption which in my opinion is extremely important to ensure data is protected within the system and data privacy and theft is ensured. Teradata Vantage is the main DW platform at SICREDI. Different front-end tools connect to Teradata Vantage to summary reports, which can be drilled-down. Besides that, Teradata Vantage supports many ad-hoc queries from users across the company.
Some regulation reports, which sweep different sources and generate XML outputs come from Teradata Vantage.
History data from source systems are kept in Teradata Vantage for a longer period of time. After that, Teradata Vantage NOS (Native Object Store) sends old data to S3 Parquet files to be stored as archived data.

Fast to load high amounts of data
I use Teradata Vantage for developing ETL processes in the data warehouse. The organization uses Teradata Vantage to store data on sales, inventory, products, customers and other kinds of data. We develop KPIs for these topics and we develop reports in microstrategy that are connected to Teradata Vantage. We use Teradata Vantage to allow business users to extract data from the data warehouse using SAS Guide, Teradata Studio and Teradata SQL Assistant. Some of the business problems that the product addresses are sales, inventory, assortment, prices, customers, loyalty programs and forecasting. The main scope is to analyse historical data, but we are using it for analytical developments as well.

Teradata is used throughout the entire company. It is used to store and query a vast amount of data. We store almost all of our membership, claims, revenue, etc. in this application. Many reports utilize this application to easily compile data which can then be used in other applications to properly display and report findings

Teradata is being used by the entire company with more than 1200 active users on a weekly basis. Teradata is our enterprise data warehouse. It was heavily used for handling massive volume of data to support our business with reports and raw data. It was used for analyzing web logs data.

Powerhouse for Data Warehousing and Analysis
We have been using Teradata database in our project for a long time now and I am very happy with that decision of implementing it because it has far exceeded our expectations. So, the Teradata database is basically a Relational Database Management System which is highly Scalable, Available, Stable and Robust. It is mostly used by large organizations to develop enterprise Dataware housing model. Teradata is a good fit for you only if you are dealing with huge volumes of data otherwise it may not be cost-effective for you. This enables running massive volume queries swift and easy and the response time is outstanding as well.
Teradata Master Data Management was implemented to help the company's business users have standards when requesting Metadata. The implementation was just across the finance department, however, it should have been scaled across the organization. Business users were able to get away from the spreadsheet and other manual processes. Locked out would include last minute requests that came in after the deadline.
