Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

It is being used across departments of purchase, sales, production, finance and administration. Being a full SAP S/4HANA Cloud package which covers the whole industry-best practices, it covers all the business processes, industry-specific requirements, legal and local requirements of Companies Act and IFRS. It is a user-friendly application which can be operated through mobile applications using Fiori.

Pros

  • Seamless integration with the internal and external applications. Example: Central Finance is the best example.
  • In-memory computing which improves the performance.
  • Front-end Fiori tool which can be used by the end users easily for both the transactions postings and analytics.
  • Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR) is the tool provided with SAP S/4HANA Cloud which meets the legal and tax compliance.

Cons

  • Automate the testing which simplifies the testing for all types of projects including implementation, rollout and enhancements.
  • End users talk to end users. It means that, some of the Customers are developing solutions to the problems which were not fulfilled by SAP Standard. If not all, some of them are actually good and reduce the processing time and development cost. Create a Fiori app, provide it to all the end users across the globe and ask them to submit a two-page problem and solution summary. This can be accessed by the other end users and utilize it if it suits.
  • This can also be released a Standard SAP Solution.
  • Easy tracking and decision making.
  • Downtime is more for new releases and patches.
Oracle
Medium and large companies can utilize the SAP S/4HANA Cloud which will suffice their needs for all the departments as SAP S/4HANA Cloud has all the sub-modules of finance, logistics, transportation, Ariba, Concur and CRM.
