Overall Satisfaction with SkyPrep LMS

We primarily use SkyPrep to administer our courses (created in Articulate 360) and certificates to users. We also use the platform to send out automated emails alerting users of enrollment into one or more courses along with sending reminder emails when their course(s) are close to expiring in their account. It's quite an easy platform to use on the ADMIN side and intuitive for our users (which is critical).

Pros

  • ADMIN dashboard is easy to navigate.
  • LEARNER dashboard is intuitive - it's very rare we receive any questions how to open a course or locate their course certificate.
  • Easy to customize and choose which automated emails are sent to users.

Cons

  • Make the certificate for a Learning Path more intuitive for a user to find.
  • Bring back the User Feedback email (currently not available on most updated version of SkyPrep)
  • The reporting could use some work - it's quite basic in my opinion
  • Add a search field when looking to find/select a MANGER for a Group you've created
  • Ease of use for a learner to navigate
  • Meet our business needs/cases
  • Customizable automated emails
  • Being able to brand the learner dashboard with our company colours and logo
  • It's allowed my company to administer courses and learning paths to a user in a very easy and intuitive way. This can only enhance ROI.

We chose SkyPrep for its intuitiveness and ease of use from both an ADMIN and LEARNER perspective. We create our courses in Articulate 360 and upload them as SCORM packages. We also created our own course and learning path certificates in the platform, so when a learner purchases one or more courses, not only is it incredible simple for the user to find and open the course, but the course certificate is issued immediately upon the user passing a course exam. Although you can create your own courses in SkyPrep and also create your own assessments, etc., it's not something we have used.
