Brings an office together, even when the employees are remote
Overall Satisfaction with Virola Messenger
With the pandemic, our office was looking for a messaging platform that could connect all of our employees so we could have conversations. Emails were not effective, and text messaging was not great either. Virola Messenger was a platform that we used, and it is great. We could create chat logs, allowing for both formal and informal conversations between employees out of the office. Unlike text messages, we found the ability to turn conversation points into "issues" to address was a great unanticipated feature. We could create action lists from our conversations within the program. Also while we could screen share prior, being able to do it within the same program was great.
Pros
- Messaging
- Creating Action Lists
- Screen Sharing
Cons
- A cleaner interface.
- More intuitive for older generations.
- Customizable notification tones
- Messaging
- Making Action Lists
- Screen Sharing
- Kept everyone in the loop
- Allowed for seamless project discussions from inside and outside the office.
- Great way to share screens which was very important.
From what we have used of Virola Messenger, it has similar features to Apple Messages. However, not everyone in our office used iPhones, so Messages was not an ideal solution. Virola Messenger also provides a lot of extra features above and beyond Messages. The main one we used was creating "Issues" and created action lists from our conversations.
