6sense

6sense is well suited in areas such as creating a campaign for our site. For example, "grill season". It makes it easy to create a campaign to advertise all our grills, best selling [grills] and create certain price updates/categories. It is not as useful on the product campaign, coupon and sales level, but still more useful than platforms we have used in the past.

Groove

I can't think of any scenario where Groove is not suited to help small to medium businesses.Groove worked well for me because I had 300+ customers to personally track, with 1000+ contacts. I was confident that my emails, inbound and outbound, would always appear in Salesforce for all to see (no having to track down the previous rep to see if they could explain the half-conversation I would previously see with Salesforce Inbox). Also, when I used the Flow process to mass email my clients, I would get a solid report after the fact that allowed me to mark contacts whose email addresses bounced or were on a do not contact list.

Cons

  • Some of the terms used are a learning process for our team, but the site is easy to navigate.
  • Although the site is easier to navigate, it has a lot of facets that take time to learn where elements are saved.

  • Doesn't sync tasks from Salesforce, only events.
  • When creating an event in Salesforce, invites the contact/lead, even if you don't want to.(For our demos, we attach the event to the Salesforce object, but only invite the AE, not the prospect.)
  • Activity & notifications are seen by clicking into the Chrome extension, which is a small icon in the toolbar. I wish it were more prominent.

Groove does everything that we need it to do at a fraction of the cost of competitors. Their customer support team is top-notch and we always get our questions answered in a timely manner. We have had nothing but success working with Groove

It's outstanding. Very easy to get the developers on the line and helping you. They are genuinely curious and interested in improving their platform for their users - they're super sincere and kind and lovely. Absolutely LOVE THEM.

Alternatives Considered

Oracle is not user-friendly. It is outdated and confusing, also makes it hard to enter in and out of certain tabs/areas within the platform. 6sense is more in-depth and has more functional abilities compared to Salesforce.

The integration with Gmail for HubSpot was not as seamless as Groove's, nor did the version we had provided us with the capability to easily dive deeply into the email history, or send calendar scheduling links! Groove was easy to set up and also easy to learn. Additionally, it felt much more reliable when we saw the incoming emails start populating in our CRM tool, in addition to the outgoing emails.

Return on Investment

  • It is easier to monitor our ROI on certain campaigns, departments, subclasses, within our sites.
  • We have less issues with launching campaigns correctly and the site crashing on us while processing and developing these campaigns.

  • Groove has deeply assisted with re-engaging clients that have had busier than normal schedules as of late. We're able to use Groove to find the best time and email style to suit the client's needs and preferences (based on their history) and tailor the outreach to them. This then fosters reengagement with our team, and therefore our product.
