Outstanding Productivity Solution Tightly Coupled with Salesforce
Overall Satisfaction with Groove
We use Groove to:
- Increase rep productivity and relevant reporting
- Improve data quality going into Salesforce (auto logs activities and meetings)
- Reduce gaps in properly responding to inbound leads
- Analyzing trends in rep conversations and meetings
Pros
- Seamlessly integrates into Salesforce, it's native built around Salesforce
- Effortless logging of user emails, meetings, and calls (it just works!)
- Always developing new features and engaging with the passionate and ever-growing Groove community
- Excellent support team if issues ever arise
Cons
- There are a few complex use cases where we've had to reach out to Groove support / solution architects to come up with a proper solution. It would be great to see something like a "How We Solved That Using Groove" knowledge base created to help get the creative solution innovation flowing more for us before we have to formally reach out for support.
- It would also be nice if the Groove dialer had a way to better interact with inbound phone trees and/or more tutorials provided on how to set up Groove according to best practices with the top phone solutions like Zoom Phone.
- Groove Conversations is good, but it still has a ways to go to be an equivalent of other top tools in this space like Gong and Chorus.
- Our reps would like the ability to initiate an outbound phone call from their cell phone and have it be auto-logged without any involvement of their desktop Groove dialer app.
- Auto activity/email/meeting logging
- Groove flows (i.e. sales / success cadences)
- Groove Dialer
- The Groove Omni-sidebar promotes easier manual data entry when needed
- Much faster lead response time, leading to higher lead conversion and opportunity win rates
- Improved onboarding handoff between sales and customer success, resulting in happier customers from the beginning
- Significantly better Salesforce activity, meeting, and email logging, resulting in happier reps as well as happier leadership in terms of reporting.
- Salesloft, Outreach and Einstein High Velocity Sales
Groove's integration with Salesforce is its primary differentiator. Outreach/Salesloft cater to all CRMs and their sync with SFDC has a delay, requires additional configuration, and is often frustrating for admins.
Salesforce Sales Engagement (formerly High Velocity Sales) also has a native integration (with no sync), but Groove is easier to use for the typical sales manager/sales rep end user. With Sales Engagement, I would be needed to help build functionality and alleviate issues, whereas with Groove, our users are much more self-sufficient.
