LuxSci vs. MailGate SC

Apparently secure website hosting and email. Perhaps could have some better background on common website features.

MailGate is well suited for organizations that have sensitive information with the need to securely transport via email, it is less appropriate for larger organizations as the overhead for administrators becomes more complex

• Ability to alert a variety of statuses to administrators via email
• Shows health status of the appliance to ensure proper functionality

• Email filtering sometimes false negatives.
• Sometimes difficulty with tech support.
• Development requests pending for 2 years now.

• External storage configuration is complex to set up
• Customer support is average, can be slow depending on the type of issue or request

MailGate works well with administrative control and ease of use for setting up TLS connectivity between clients

• Cost-effective. I manage (poorly) multiple websites myself & with the help of Luxsci tech support.
• Generally, things work.
• I wish they had more info on what I think are common issues with websites or email.

• MailGate has allowed the organization to accept more clients with their knowledge of our ability to securely send emails
