Evernote
Chose Evernote
OneNote supports its users, even as they change policies.
Google Drive supports its users, even as they change policies.
Evernote does not. It's a shame because they are more effective.
Chose Evernote
I find it easier to use Evernote than Google Drive on my phone, so it's helpful for making notes on the go, both for work and personally. The one feature of Google Drive that I wish Evernote had is simultaneous editing.
Chose Evernote
We use Google Drive in addition to Evernote. The most comparable product within that suite would be Google Docs. Evernote is better than Docs as it has more of a full plethora of features that allow for notes to be rich with content. Evernote is also great to start a note on …
Chose Evernote
Google Drive is what I used to use for note-taking. It was good because it has good collaboration, but it is not nearly as organized, and it not aesthetic. Evernote is also better on mobile devices. I would use Evernote because it takes care of most of the organization.
Chose Evernote
Evernote is more user friendly and flows better during collaboration events as long as everyone in your team is using it. Organization of files, reports, photos and even video files has been helpful with Evernote and the program makes it easy to send those files to coworkers. …
Chose Evernote
Evernote is a better product than OneNote because it is not attached to an organization with other apps. Evernote allows the user freedom to create notes without looking cluttered. Although it does not have features to clip notes from websites that I have seen, the sleek design …
Chose Evernote
Zoho Projects and notebook are a simple tool compared to Evernote, allowing for collaboration, note making, and organizing notes. I used to use it earlier as it also has more advanced features for time management and responsibility division. However, I eventually stuck with …
Chose Evernote
I haven't really used any other similar products because I've been very pleased with Evernote and never had a reason to try anything else.
Chose Evernote
Evernote is not a great cloud drive or to-do list tool. However, Evernote allows one to organize resources in a way none of the other tools do. I can search in Evernote based on tags which is something I cannot do in a cloud drive (at least not that I know). This is important …
Chose Evernote
Evernote feels more intuitive and I can "clip" articles with the Chrome app extension.
Chose Evernote
Along the way, I have used various products such as Google Calendar, Dropbox for sharing and even paper. Evernote made a difference in that is was easy to use - similar to a Google Calendar for reminders, fast - similar to Dropbox for documents & emails, mainly, and highly …
Chose Evernote
The tagging function makes Evernote stand out from the competition. It allows cross-referencing of information. You can easily find information stored in mutable notebooks. For this reason it is still a go to program for certain projects.
Chose Evernote
Wunderlist, OneNote are tough competitors for Evernote. But Evernote's clean interface and ease of use is forcing us to stand with them.
Chose Evernote
It's free to use and works on all major platforms like Mac, Windows, Android Smartphone and Tablets, etc.
Chose Evernote
Evernote is better than is other powerful corporate competitors like Microsoft or Google. Microsoft's OneNote is the best competitor for Evernote with better online or offline note saving after its release of the tremendous Windows 10. But Evernote is still dominating its …
Chose Evernote
OneNote is the best alternative to Evernote. OneNote is structured just like a standard notebook. Google Keep is good for taking notes but it's in basic stages.
Chose Evernote
My client selected Evernote because she found it easy to use. She likes that she can log in and all her other Evernotes are listed there. I like that I can save Evernotes into my account from others, as well. Offers lots of options for any small business owner to utilize …

I really like to use all of them together in order to achieve different goals in my job, hobbies, and other personal activities like sharing trip photos, backing up videos, and important job data. My main cloud services tool for work is OneDrive, but when something comes up I …
Chose Google Drive
Google Drive is preferable as it is more easily accessed across devices, allows for file sharing in a streamlined manner, and provides cloud storage.
Chose Google Drive

Chose pCloud
pCloud has a wonderful UI that is very simple for anyone to use as compared to another device. It also has crypto technology which makes it highly secure and efficient. Other platform doesn't have that level of security in them. It also has great features to use like pCloud …
Chose pCloud
The reason why we love pCloud over similar tools is because of its neat and clean interface. We also love options for file encryption through pCloud Crypto, which is unavailable on Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Also, the upload speed on pCloud is fantastic and it is a lot …
Chose pCloud
pCloud offers much of the same for online storage but with super deals and valuable upgrades.
Chose pCloud

Chose pCloud
pCloud does one thing really well; backup, archive, access, and share files & folders. It does not try to be many other things.
Chose pCloud
pCloud's pricing is cheaper than alternatives. pCloud is modern and easy to understand.pCloud has mobile sync which is an amazing feature for me. Even it allows me to upload from a direct download link! pCloud has every feature that an average user required as a cloud backup or …
Chose pCloud
pCloud is miles away from the competition. We chose it because of their flexible pricing and great support. Plus the feature set is really tough to beat.

Evernote
Evernote is an excellent tool for keeping track of client relationships and taking notes. The indexing is excellent, with text in images and text. However, a Wiki might be better for large-scale collaboration. It is a perfect use case for it, and it is hard to beat. To-do lists that need to be tracked or have due dates assigned do not work well in Evernote. It's almost like a library that anyone can add to, edit, tag, and reference. Evernote has a limited checklist function in terms of tasks meant to be kept in one place rather than reviewed and organized over time.

I need to store and share a lot of files. These include videos and other documents. Before using pCloud, I constantly had to clean up and delete files from my hard drive to free up space for new files. Sharing files and also using files on my website is now easier with pCloud's public folder.

Pros
Evernote
  • Ability to share meeting notes with others (like that it works well with Rocketbook).
  • The To-Do list helps with organization and project deadlines.
  • Able to sync to multiple devices so you can use it in the office or in the field.

  • You can share files with any number of different users with different access rights or you can even keep it public by providing the access link and assign different rights for public access
  • You can open Excel/Word files using google software Sheets/Docs in the browser environment without having to install software like Microsoft Office etc on your Windows OS

  • pCloud helps us to store data very well and it is accessible from anywhere. It makes it easy for anyone to use it and secure the data. It is easy to upload data and access it while having a meeting with our client.
  • pCloud easily stores files from another platform as well like Google Drive or Dropbox. It easily exchanges information like images, videos, and documents. This feature is amazing as it gives access to files from other storage.
  • It had one feature known as pCloud Crypto which gives high-end security to the data when stored. It is highly secure and encrypted. It uses blockchain technology which requires a key to use called Crypto Pass to unlock your data. Really like it.

Cons
Evernote
  • The free application's feature will meet most users needs, but the Premium plan is expensive.
  • Though Evernote lets you create and manage notes effortlessly, its basic plan supports sync between two devices and does not support offline mode.
  • Can't export data easily to other applications.

  • Having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement.
  • Could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions.
  • Google Sheets could be enhanced because Excel really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality.

I can't really imagine how much they'd have to charge me to make me quit Evernote. I can't really think of any technology that has changed my life as much without going back to email in the 90s, or the introduction of the iPhone. I know I sound ridiculous, but it would be really tough for me to live without it. If I were forced to choose between my smart phone (and keep in mind that I get lost in my driveway) and my Evernote, I'd probably choose my Evernote.

Usability
Evernote
  • Basic visual organization - ability to create a notebook and store user notes inside of it.
  • Basic easy navigation - You can quickly move in and out of files and notes.
  • User intuitive addition - whatever you need to add to your document, it's relatively easy to understand and use.
  • We find overall that we still want some functionality in creating better task lists, boards, and other things that we find in Notion - which is the tool that we use as a team notebook/storage space.

It's easy enough to use for computer users of all ages and skill levels. I am an advanced user, and I think the hardest part might be showing someone how to download and set up the app on their device if they weren't too familiar with computers, but overall it is very easy to understand.

The documents load fairly quickly and also update in real time, especially given the fact that multiple people can be using it at once. The "Offline" feature works great to allow the user to make edits and access the document without access to the internet, and then sync changes later once they're back.

I bet you won’t even need to call their support. Their product has never failed me. Simply put. But if you were to email them to gather some details or help, I bet they won’t disappoint you. Don’t worry about the support, it’s the last thing you should worry about this product.

It takes a few days for customer support to get back to you. Although, I have not had to use support too often. Once you get an email back, they are very thorough and work hard to fix the problem quickly. It is a really great resource and a great way to get the help you need if you're stuck. A phone call also works quickly but you have to call during specific times.

The effective google workspace using training that my organization received and was conducted by me (as a team lead of the ICT team) was mind-blowing and as a result, our staff is performing well in terms of using the application for their daily jobs than before. Now, in my institution, all teachers and all the administrative personnel are very much interested in cloud storage facilities, in previous my institution was afraid of losing all important documents in the cloud storage. But, after having received the training they are now realized that if anyone has only one google account then he or she can use 15GB of cloud storage freely and they are now happy because now it is not necessary for anyone to carry the traditional pen drive.

Make sure you think about your tags. If you end up with multiple similar tags then things aren't grouped together as you might prefer. For instance if you have a tag called Disney and Walt Disney, this will split up your articles. Evernote makes it simple to correct, but I suggest you make sure your users look closely at the existing tags before creating new ones.

The most similar program I have used is OneNote by Microsoft, and other note taking programs exist like Notepad and Microsoft Word but those programs do not offer syncing like Evernote does. In short, Google Drive is better for independent users who store a normal amount of stuff. OneDrive makes more sense for businesses and teams that are doing heavy-duty storage or large-scale syncing. Realistically, though, most users will fall somewhere in between the two, where either platform would meet their needs.

Return on Investment
Evernote
  • Evernote has allowed our school's over 3000 students and staff members to work more efficiently instead of spending time on making physical notes, clicking pictures, and uploading them to the cloud in order to share them
  • The investment in Evernote Premium has also allowed for heavier files to be attached in each note such as student work that allows teachers to be certain that students have followed deadlines and finished assigned tasks
  • Evernote has allowed our school to smoothly transition in and out of online learning as the local COVID-19 protocols change and student work requires one platform to be based on throughout
