Claritysoft CRM Review after 1 Full Year of Use

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Claritysoft as our main CRM. It is meant to track the customers, accounts, the products they've purchased, their type of account, phone numbers, addresses, etc., with a separate place for extra notes. It really acts as a large address book, which is fine, based on our sales model where contracts and opportunities aren't tracked as they normally would be in capital equipment sales.

Pros

  • Acts as an address book
  • Allows for a decent amount of customization
  • From what I am guessing, isn't very expensive

Cons

  • We should be able to import in sales data from Excel or some other format to be included into each account
  • ZERO AI features
  • Limited Dashboard features

Return on Investment

  • I would say it's a great way to have a consolidated address book which allows us to see past calls and emails to make future business decisions
  • It's mass email feature for basic users is a bit complicated. There are templates, but for images, you never know whether it is sending to the customer correctly, which is not good for business
  • It can't track sales data, so forecasting is out the window, which isn't good when we have to do quotas by hand and guesswork. Our company does it, and they do it well, but I know it must take a LOT of time

Claritysoft is definitely worth it!

Pros

  • Claritysoft provides great software for keeping track of all the activities you've completed for a customer or lead.
  • Claritysoft also has a great setup with creating new activities that need to be completed in the future so you do not forget.
  • Claritysoft also has a very good support team. When we have questions or problems, Claritysoft is very prompt to address them.

Cons

  • I think the quote builder could use a good update.

Return on Investment

  • Claritysoft really helped our different departments come together in one software.

Claritysoft - From the Field

Pros

  • Claritysoft is a low-cost solution for smaller companies to be able to keep up with leads and customers.
  • It also is great for having one depository for quotes and opportunities you and your company are working on.
  • The marketing function seems to also work really well for sending out and tracking email campaigns.

Cons

  • There is no spell-check function to use when you are sending emails.
  • Some of the functions you need when deleting records and the like are not always available on every page when you are working in the application.
  • When moving quotes to opportunities, the attachments go with the move so when you go back to the quote, it is not there. Also, when you move a quote it does not automatically fill in the quote number as it was on the quote, it creates a new number. This should be fixed.
  • When you convert a lead it does not move the lead to archives or get rid of it. It leaves it in the Leads area and so you have to manually get rid of it.
  • There is no auto-dial feature built into Claritysoft.
  • The mobile app needs to look and feel just like the online version.

Return on Investment

  • It has had a positive impact since we began using it.
  • We are now able to use it and be more productive than before without a CRM.
