What is Revver?

Revver (formerly eFileCabinet) aims to help businesses reduce their dependency on paper and efficiently complete their document work. Revver does this by helping customers store and organize documents, quickly find information and files, collaborate on document work, automate business processes, and be secure and compliant. The vendor’s clients are typically companies that have frequent customer interaction, require high levels of documentation, and have offices in which compliance and regulation demand thorough record keeping.

The vendor states that Revver excels in use cases such as client management, employee management, repetitive operations, and new business onboarding. Revver works with many industries, including accountants, financial planners, HR departments, insurance offices, health and medical offices, schools and colleges, real estate offices, community banks and credit unions, and small government city offices.

Revver helps to improve document processes, with the goal of transforming processes that took days to complete to mere hours. Revver can also help to generate time savings from organization and findability, saving hours each week just searching for documents, while also driving costs savings related to paper, toner, and storage space reduction.

eFile is an easy to use and deploy one source solution for documentation

Pros

  • Cloud-based for access anywhere needed, including off-site and remote offices
  • Allows staff from various areas to access documentation
  • Allows various types of documents to be saved in one place
  • Means I don't need to save documentation in multiple locations and anyone can access as needed
  • Allows me to find historical information easily to resolve questions on billing and projects

Cons

  • It's only as good as your system for filing. We file by job number and client, without that it would be unusable, figure that out when you implement.
  • Sometimes it's slow to load.

Return on Investment

  • Eliminates paper files and need for storage.
  • Eliminates the need to save some electronic documentation on a server or in other locations.
  • Saves time trying to find documentation.
  • You can find documentation created by other staff in a secure location.

Usability

EfileCabinet is a bargain for its abilities!

Pros

  • Drag & Drop feature accurately and quickly loads any document where you want it in the files.
  • Easy search mechanism lets you find a document that you may have titled differently in a previous year.

Cons

  • Applying multiple templates across the program to any new file must be done in multiple steps. After several phonecalls with tech support, I realized there is no way to integrate several templates into an automatic add function.

Return on Investment

  • Pricing is budget friendly.
  • Pay only for the number of users you need. I needed 2, so I pay for 2. Other DMS programs come with up to 5 users and charge accordingly. This gives me the flexibility to grow my business at my rate - not someone else's.

eFileCabinet. The best bang for the buck Digital Document Storage Solution to replace your old File Cabinets

Pros

  • eFileCabinet is a secure platform that can store sensitive documents and information.
  • eFileCabinet provides an easy to use Admin panel for user creation, permissions, settings, etc.
  • eFileCabinet provides a solid Mobile App Platform.
  • eFileCabinet provides both a browser version and desktop version of their online software.

Cons

  • eFileCabinet's sidekick app can sometimes stop working on the printer side with Windows updates. It's getting better and less problematic, but it would be nice for support to push out notices to the customers when they know they have bugs in the software.
  • The sidekick app would be nice if it had a "full size mode" and the "smaller / simple mode" so that you don't have to run the browser and sidekick together. This is confusing for our users as they might want the advanced functionality of the website browser efilecabinet instead of the minimal sidekick app.
  • Have auto refresh on sidekick and the browser so that if you make changes in the browser eFileCabinet, the sidekick will update automatically. This is very confusing for our users and should be an included feature in 2019.
  • Mac Sidekick App shouldn't be in beta after 2-3 years. This is sad to see :(

Return on Investment

  • ROI is based on less paper being used/printed, less printer toner being used.
  • We have more physical space for desks and other items in our office due to going paperless
  • We are able to share, distribute, and access documents on-site and off-site (on the go)
  • Our departments can easily scan and upload documents on the fly into specific drawers/file cabinets.

eFileCabinet makes our files feel safe and secure

Pros

  • The ability to set restrictions on documents sent out or stored in the system is one great strong suit of eFileCabinet.
  • It gives us the confidence that our documents are safe.
  • eFileCabinet has excellent technical support. When needed, I can call or email them and the problem is usually solved in that moment or that day. They have also worked directly with our IT Support Service to get things set up on our server.
  • The search features are frequently used by me. You can limit where the search takes place, and even search within a search to narrow down your results. The side panel lets you preview the documents as well so most often I don't even need to fully open a document to get the information I need.

Cons

  • SecureDrawer could use improvement, it doesn't feel completely intuitive to the user, sometimes I find myself confused or irritated while trying to set up someone, or re-map folders.

Return on Investment

  • eFileCabinet is an integral part of our system, it's return on investment is intangible.
