Overall Satisfaction with eFileCabinet
Our company uses eFIle both in our accounting team and also in support positions that interact with that team and other areas of the company. I specifically use it as a place to save invoices from vendors, purchase orders and all correspondence and documents related to purchasing assets for our company. It is a lifesaver as one location to find any documentation related to projects for any questions or resolution that may be needed at a later date. As a result, I save very little in my email boxes!
- Cloud-based for access anywhere needed, including off-site and remote offices
- Allows staff from various areas to access documentation
- Allows various types of documents to be saved in one place
- Means I don't need to save documentation in multiple locations and anyone can access as needed
- Allows me to find historical information easily to resolve questions on billing and projects
- It's only as good as your system for filing. We file by job number and client, without that it would be unusable, figure that out when you implement.
- Sometimes it's slow to load.
- Eliminates paper files and need for storage.
- Eliminates the need to save some electronic documentation on a server or in other locations.
- Saves time trying to find documentation.
- You can find documentation created by other staff in a secure location.
I was not part of the process to select, but my understanding is we selected this instead of paper files. I don't know which other products were options.
