SMARTe was purchased to serve three purposes. To to act as a secondary source of enrichment to another product. Our lead qualification processes rely on accurate data being populated and enriched. SMARTe boosts our enrichment rate by 20% in some areas vs our other supplier. We performed this analysis during renewal which confirmed their complimentary functionality in this area. From this point of view it runs silently in the background without maintenance making it perfect for our needs. The ability to correctly classify free Text job titles into segmentable values. Most enrichment platforms will provide values with a job title they provide which is ok, but SMARTe will categorise any title we send regardless of if they match the contact. This has a large impact to how we can successfully make use of our data from segmentation to Lead Scoring. New contacts - we have two options here, download straight from their humungous dataset using the filters provided (including being able to upload accounts to match). Or, use their bespoke service which ranges from desk based research to GDPR compliant phone qualifies contacts. One area that could improve is the integration with HubSpot. A robust API means we have managed to integrate, but Native integration would be preferred.

  • It is not possible to provide a quantitive ROI impact
  • a 20% uplift in enrichment vs our other vendor.
We use them to compliment each other, there are areas that Clearbit provides matches that SMARTe does not and visa versa. This applies at both a contact and an account level.

Where SMARTe really stands out (for me) is the ability to classify any provided Job Title. This really has dramatic impact to our processes.

Clearbit does have a native integration that offers data refresh.

I use SMARTe on a daily basis in my prospecting activity. SMARTe offers multiple ways to support the prospecting activity, I tend to use the Chrome Extension to unlock contact details from LinkedIn Sales Nav. Given the difficulty in finding this information working in Europe, I have to admit that the tool has helped me a lot in this.
My prospecting work has been faster, more efficient and more precise, so my feedback is extremely positive.
  • Unlocking Phone Number from a contact
  • Unlocking Email from a contact
  • Tracking the relevant role within the company
  • Understanding companies organization
  • Efficiency of Chrome Extension. Sometimes page is not loading
  • Duration of log in, usually with a day of not use logs out automatically
  • List of contact unlocked better sorted out and available
SMARTe offers multiple ways to support the prospecting activity, I tend to use the Chrome Extension to unlock contact details from LinkedIn Sales Nav. Given the difficulty in finding this information working in Europe, I have to admit that the tool does his job perfectly.
Only thing that could be developed is ability to find details from smaller companies. Sometimes they are (and I understand why) difficult to find.

Very similar, probably Lusha has a bigger database atm. But for the same contacts SMARTe has more details.
So for a deep unlock I tend to prefer SMARTe over Lusha.
Experience with Lusha was very short, especially because SMARTe deals better with GDPR obligations, so easier to use it from a company perspective.

As a Business Development Manager my highest priority goes to getting the resources right. A rockstar sales team with inaccurate data achieves dissatisfaction, Especially when your team hunts global. We have more mobile numbers in EMEA, APAC and LATAM than ever before despite having solutions claiming to be the best in the above geographies. Chrome extension that allows prospecting on company websites and LinkedIn profiles, reveals prospect data in a single click and saves it directly to your CRM enabling team members to dial more.Unlimited downloads for sales users gives peace of mind.

  • Unlimited Downloads for sales teams.
  • UI could be better.
  • Automate the product buying experience.
If you target North America and plans to buy SMARTe Data Platform, you may not be able to realise exponential data coverage compared to other contact discovery solution in place. But if you wish to have better coverage than any solution you have for LATAM, EMEA, APAC than this is the right solution for you. They have more mobile numbers as compared to any other we have tried.
