There are two specific use cases we use ApptioOne for. Primary, we use it for a showback model to our business units. Secondary, showing value of tickets against our service desk managed services partner.
- Connection to our general ledger
- Mapping of applications to G/L
- Dashboards for BU's
- Simplification on build out for our internal resources
Data ingestion is done on a monthly basis on a report exported by our internal data teams. Once we can build an automated report, we plan on sending our data for automatic monthly data ingestion. The modeling seems straight forward. The hard part is that we need to align internally on how to do our mappings for successful showbacks.
