Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am Controller and manage A/P, A/R, C/R, FA etc. I have been using, implementing, installing, converting from other accounting software, setting up Blackbaud FE for over 20 years. The A/P in NXT does not seem to be completely converted from FE and we still have to use the FE database to fully process.

Blackbaud FE has provided all that we needed with the help of their third party partners. NXT just continued that.

Alternatives Considered

We converted from Fundware to Blackbaud FE then to NXT. I have converted several other accounting software in other organizations to Blackbaud FE but NXT was not created at those times.

I rated it with a 7 due to the A/P module in NXT. FE is still needed for invoicing. Customer service is hard to reach and do not seem to have all the answers. I have been using, installing, implementing, converting from other accounting software, recommending, supporting, teaching other users on Blackbaud FE for 20 plus years. NXT has some great improvements except in the A/P module. Once that has improved I would rate it a 10.
