Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use CCH® SureTax® to calculate our sales tax and vat compliance on the invoicing side of our business. Additionally, we use the SureReturns portion product to help us with the compliance related side of this business. We have over 10k invoices go out a year and use CCH® SureTax® among multiple subsidiaries and products

Product Configurability

I think that this product helps with routine and basis sales but it is not complex enough to meet our needs. Any additional items are too dependent on the professional services team and not able to be handled either under the client side or by a general team.

CCH® SureTax® has been helpful for us to get domestic sales tax up and off the ground. If you have either one or just a few subsidiaries with very little cross sales then this product will be helpful. Where CCH® SureTax® has not quite met our needs is with cross sales/product bundling of products - it is challenging to figure out nexus. Additionally, CCH® SureTax® leaves something to be desired in the VAT space - CCH® SureTax® only handles invoicing and not expenses/ap side so we are not able to fully support VAT reporting.
