Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Ceridian Dayforce is being used across the whole organization. This helps us communicate with all employees and managers on a daily basis. All information is connected and we are able to work together on processes.
  • Calculating pay across timesheets and paystubs.
  • Configuration of features. You can make it as unique as you need to.
  • Having information available throughout the organization.
  • The Schedule Planning > Shift Rotation screen is hard to use and time consuming. It would be easier if it had a filter option in order to find employees and update their shifts instead of scrolling and individually selecting each day.
  • The authorizations on the Timesheets screen is not linking properly to the Pay Admin Checklist screen and does not reflect authorized records . If the screens can be linked more seamlessly, it would improve our processes.
  • Reports do not always work.
  • We having been trying to implement more automated processes to reduce paper and save time, but it does not always accommodate what we need.
  • The importing and exporting feature has helped us be more efficient with data.
Dayforce enables compliance at our organization because we are able to configure unique accomodations in order to comply with laws and policies. For example, between hourly and salaried associates, shift differential, overtime, tax withholdings.
From a payroll perspective, we are able to see the process from beginning to end and how it carries over into payroll. This has impacted our abilities because when it comes to start dates, end dates, schedules, timesheet hours, etc. we are able to back track and see where certain issues occur and how it impacts payroll.
All the information is connected and if there are issues, we can back track to the different features and adjust as needed.

Dayforce is well suited when needing to communicate across the organization and information is readily available.

It is less suited when transferring information from one screen to another and sometimes it does not link over properly.

Dayforce could be improved if more features were seamless.
