Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Room Series

In the company, we have remote offices and the meeting rooms have the room kit to have collaborative work between departments and foreign branches. Its performance is good, the audio quality connects via HDMI to a screen and its connection to the network can be wired or wireless. A big disadvantage is that the cost is very high compared to other products that can do similar things like Polycom.

Pros

  • The audio is of great quality.
  • Has smart microphone arrays.
  • Very simple to operate and has all the benefits of Cisco Webex.

Cons

  • Does not work with other platforms like Zoom or Microsoft team
  • It is very expensive compared to other similar products on the market like Polycom.
  • Needs cisco webex licensing which makes it even more expensive to have this equipment in small offices.
  • The conferences by this means are very good and the decision-makers (our directors) love that the audio and video are perfect.
  • It is easy to share content from devices close to the room kit since this is done by proximity.
  • Licenses and poor platform compatibility make this solution very expensive.
The operation that it has is very similar, the reason why it is decided to acquire the room kit is that our company manages the Cisco portfolio which makes it easier to acquire and renew all our equipment every 3 years but we could use a cop if we do not have everything costume. If you have the Webex suite, it's a great collaboration tool.
Cisco has always stood out for the excellent support and documentation on its products, this is one of the reasons why they are so well positioned. The means by which you can create a case and the response times are very good. I especially like the support through the Webex teams.
In particular, I would like to be able to have more compatibility on different platforms, nowadays many companies use applications like Microsoft Teams, and Room Kit is only compatible with Cisco Webex. In terms of function and performance, it has excellent quality. The calls between Room Kits and Webex app are very good and the tools that the webex suite has as well as its rooms are of great performance.

Totally appropriate in offices or meeting rooms where there are directors and perfect audio and image are needed, obviously good bandwidth and network quality are also required. I do not recommend it in schools or small offices since there are teams that for a third of its cost do very interesting things and with a very good performance. I think that if it were more accessible in terms of cost and licensing, we could find one of these in any meeting room.
