Overall Satisfaction with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

I used Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops at my previous company for remote work, or telecommuting when not going into the office in person. It addresses the problem of not having to commute to the office. Users of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops are able to access nearly everything they would be able to if they were in the office as long as they have access to the internet.

  • Better mobile app access and functionality.
  • High cost of using this service.
  • Service connection issues can lag at times.
  • Easy of use.
  • Security of access.
  • Easy to implement.
  • The cost can be a bit high.
  • Lessen the burden on IT staff.
  • Support employee work flexibility.
Both Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and GoToMyPC solve the business needs of accessing your work remotely as long as you have access to the internet. They are easy to log into and support worker flexibility. The cost to maintain this software can be expensive, especially if you have high numbers of employees who need access.

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops are well suited for those who need access to their work remotely. The interface is easy to use, and you can log in quickly and easily. The desktop features are great and their customer service is helpful when you need it. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is less appropriate when the system can lag due to connectivity issues such as slow internet.
