Overall Satisfaction with iDashboards

iDashboards replaced the annual manual Fact Book development process with an automated dashboard that draws data directly from the student information system and delivers information on demand through an online interface.
  • Efficiency and time-saving
  • Data on demand and current
  • Online tool for monitoring higher education key performance indicators
  • Affordability
  • More ready-made graphic templates
  • A one-page sheet for important functions and uses
  • More attention to higher education key indicators
Looked at the various dashboard products available for the higher education market. There were many to choose from, but most were far beyond the college's limited budget. Knowing there was no way the college could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, the college settled on iDashboards as an efficient tool for monitoring higher education key performance indicators such as enrollment, accreditation, effectiveness, institutional research, financials and departmental metrics.
We wanted something that would be faster and more efficient. Also, iDashboards keeps improving, adding very useful and graphic features, and ongoing tech support. Also, when you sign on with the company, you have an option to "buy" in advance the annual maintenance fee - which will not go up. I believe we signed for 5 years - which means tremendous savings.
iDashboards is well suited for an office environment or organization with fewer personnel and resources. Its efficiency allows for less "man" hours. In terms of selection, the primary key question during process was cost, great tech support service, and efficiency. About where it may be less appropriate, it will be an office where information production, consumption, and dissemination is not a priority.
