Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua
Our business unit is a part of bigger Eloqua customer. We've used Eloqua to inform and engage our existing customers as well as prospects. Eloqua allows us to make sure that our contacts receive relevant information and to monitor usage of it. We've also used Eloqua to track our user's behavior on our web site and adjust information materials to their needs.
Pros
- Easy and fast creation of campaigns. The drag and drop editor is very user-friendly.
- Website visit tracking is a great tool to spot the contacts that are really interested in our products.
- Personalization is easy and straightforward if the data quality is sufficient.
Cons
- Reporting on a few key metrics of campaigns could have been more intuitive and straightforward, however, I assume it also might be lack of my knowledge.
- The impact is as good or bad as content and the ideas behind marketing campaigns are. Therefore, I do not think successes, or lack of them, can be attributed to the capabilities of product - it is rather the message that matters.
