We are using Spotfire across the organization to visualize diverse oil and gas datasets together to enable performance-based analytics across multiple functions (drilling and completions, base business/operations, finance, asset development, and procurement/supply chain management).

Python knowledge required even for basic functional utilization

Alternatives Considered

Haven't had much exposure to competitors. Beginning a Power BI trial next month.

Likelihood to Recommend

Very well suited for visualizing coherent data sets.
Excel provides easier implementation of calculations.
