Overall Satisfaction with WileyPLUS

I use WileyPLUS in my Introduction to Psychology Course. It has some incredible and unique features that help students achieve academic success in today's online learning environment. For example, auto-graded assignments where students get immediate feedback, the Orion Adaptive Practice allows students to practice based on their individual needs, and it integrates nicely into Canvas which I use extensively for teaching.
  • Allows educators to tailor the products to their curriculum
  • Is accessible to all students regardless of learning styles
  • Allows you to monitor student progress so you can catch struggling students early
  • Would like more hands on activities and/or labs that students could use in the course
  • Make it easier to grade some of the homework. It doesn't always catch small details that are missing
  • Ability for students to practice before major quizzes or exams
  • Students being able to monitor their own progress
  • Being able to identify struggling students.
  • Students have been more successful in the course
  • Able to intervene and help struggling students early
  • Less time spent on grading

It is great for scenarios where you have a diverse group of students. In my case, I teach high school students, traditional college students, and non-traditional students. It's nice that it fits a broad spectrum of students. Also, it does well meeting the needs of students with most disabilities. It is probably less appropriate for instructors that don't use Canvas or other learning management tools for teaching, or those teachers who are not flexible and/or care about their student's success.
