Actually, it depends on the size of the organization. Atera is not well suited for large organizations in my point of view, and also it is not well suited where policies are very strict. But I would recommend it because of the lower cost and the rich features it has. The biggest benefit of Atera is it is cloud hosted and the cost does not depend on the number of devices you register with Atera. The cost depends on the number of licenses you have purchased.

It's great for the basics of device management for Windows PCs, I wouldn't recommend it for Mac other than asset management. Well suited for support and management of a large fleet of endpoints, particularly across multiple regions and locations. Its well suited for MSPs for this reason. Its also effective for managing patching and updates for server infrastructure, where some other products are unable to manage. Its useful being able to access these features across multiple networks and domains. There is an option to monitor network equipment such as switches, but it didn't provide any information that wasn't already provided in the switches cloud portal.

Atera is doing good in the monitoring part as it is monitoring our complete infrastructure from the network to servers and also the end user devices.
Atera is good in the patching part as it is patching our Windows and Linux servers, end-user Windows systems, and third-party applications.
Atera is good in the automation process, and we can plan the execution of any task and schedule it. We have a lot of options here from CMD to PowerShell.
The Inventory part is also good, as we can see and download the Software and Hardware inventory from Atera. It will provide the details of all hardware and software, from OS details to applications.

It provides fantastic remote access capabilities. The Take Control tool gives us a robust platform that is capable of remote controlling almost any endpoint we need to and the chat, file transfer, and screen recording tools are all exceptionally useful.
SolarWinds RMM is particularly useful as a single pane of glass solution that allows us to monitor and manage thousands of endpoints across dozens of different clients. It does a solid job of allowing us to sort, organize, and filter based off of who and what we want to see at any given time.
Due to its client based nature, the platform excels at in-depth monitoring of services, event logs, and the functionality of systems with custom script checks.

Remote connections: the NinjaRemote client is spectacular and very easy to use and navigate. It quickly connects to customer systems so my engineers are able to work. As a bonus, they also offer a really good mobile app to connect to client systems.

OS Patching: NinjaOne makes it very easy to handle patching across multiple clients and locations. It is very easy to use and doesn't take long to set up.
Support: NinjaOne support is always very prompt and helpful.
Documentation: the NinjaOne Dojo is a one-stop shop for all of your FAQs, guides, and forum needs. You can find almost anything here to help you deploy and maintain NinjaOne.
Automation Library: NinjaOne comes preloaded with a large number of ready-to-go automations. They also provide you with a scripting module to create your own.

Atera is well-designed but still has some issues. In the patching part, the devices having low disk space in the C drive, will not download and install the patches. It should give room to clean the space and then patch the system.
It has a limited number of third-party applications that can be installed through it.
In some cases, Atera failed to update or remove those applications that were not installed through Atera itself. Only 10% we can say.

Atera's remote monitoring feature is one of it's best features. The laptops and servers we used it on responded quickly to our administrative task requests and made our work light. The ROI is immediate for us. The advanced alerting alone makes this product an ace in our bag. The confidence you have in your network is wonderful.
Another big ROI we get from the advanced alerting is the peace of mind that our engineers feel. We are a 24/7 shop, so being on-call goes from being hectic to extremely manageable.
The only negative I can honestly say is when the time comes to patch the product. Micro-patches are easy enough, but jumping versions can be a bit taxing.
