Likelihood to Recommend It is particularly good for practices with multiple veterinarians as it allows for easy collaboration and communication among team members. The comprehensive medical record-keeping system, appointment scheduling tools, and inventory management features make it easy to manage a busy practice when a case can require ongoing management between multiple vets. Conversely, less tech-savvy users will probably find that the software has a steep learning curve. It will typically require someone who is already well-versed in the software to teach the other employees in the clinic.
Read full review It is well suited for larger organizations to remove the need to manually track down where a performance review is at any given time, you can always find where it is in the system. It does require a lot of dedicated support to launch the process so I do not believe it would work as well in smaller organizations where you may not have the extra time or "hands" it takes to build and test the template and process.
Read full review Pros Takes annual goals set up at the beginning of the year and puts them in the performance management process for employees to begin their self-evaluations. Routes from employee, to manager, to second-level manager, to HR, for review and then sends back to all for acknowledgment and sign-off. It sends out automatic emails prompting everyone included in the process to begin the process, prompt them through the process and emails when the process is complete. Read full review Cons The process to actually set up the performance management template is more complicated than it should be. Setting up the performance management task process is also a little complicated. I do not think it is as user-friendly as it could be. It took a lot of assistance from a Cornerstone implementation specialist to get the process set up. It would be nice to be able to remove some features that are hard coded in the performance management template. We have no need for the Tasks & Targets part of the template, however they could not be removed and really confused our employees. Read full review Alternatives Considered In RxWorks and Clinic-ware, only one user can access a record at any particular time. RxWorks has very inefficient and over-complicated menu that requires many clicks to navigate. They do not have a tab feature to allow users to juggle a few cases at a time, which is quite common in clinical practice. They have very limited custom templates. The visual layout of the software is relatively poor.

Read full review Return on Investment I don't have hard numbers, but it saved HR a ton of time from constantly having to track down reviews. When done through the manual process, it could take a full year to get a completed reviews into our HR file.
