This platform is great for all those companies that need more punctual administration for customer requirements during the process of selling or acquiring a service. Customer Focus offers an inventory management system, order management and also offers a great CRM, with which you can get excellent results if you combine these three functionalities. This platform offers an excellent communication service with clients, which helps to create a really great relationship between the company and the client.

Sage 500 ERP is great for companies with core accounting needs, distributors, and discrete manufacturers. Some areas, such as process manufacturing, would require a companion product from an ISV for the software to be truly functional. Some areas, such as construction or retail apparel, may simply not be well-served.

  • Facilitates the interaction between the company and customers, through various communication channels, thanks to the storage of information of interest, such as the needs and preferences for products or services.
  • Access data of interest (about the clients, their histories, products, prices, etc.,) from any place with access to the internet
  • An extensive knowledge about the clients allows the company to present commercial offers adapted to their needs, so the income is also higher, through a lower sales cycle. The CRM allows to enhance sales and marketing functions.

  • Sage is the one-stop-shop for all of our needs. We're able to control contracts, subcontracts, and field reports from the program.
  • Another strength is the ability to database all the information and export it to excel. This makes data-based investigations a breeze.
  • The ability for Timberscan to be imported to Sage is a huge help with invoice management. Prior to this it all had to be done manually and slowed the process to an essential halt as there are thousands of invoices per month.

  • Customer Focus is not able to integrate with our email marketing system, therefore, it is more complicated for us to use the data collected on this platform, to be able to obtain results in our email commerce.
  • The process of setting up automated responses for clients is a bit complex. It is not the typical software that is configured in a couple of weeks, I had complications when configuring the automated responses for the clients' requirements.

  • The biggest concern/complaint of Sage 500 users is speed. Some of the screen take a while to load.
  • The user interface needs some refreshing. Screens need to be updated to take advantage of shortcuts and to be more intuitive.

Sales management is based on the management of customer relationships and must be centralized so that its analysis is effective. The data that is collected must be available for the generation of statistics for decision making by the directory. This tool allows us to generate the necessary data to generate results, save time and production cost. The other products did not fit our objectives.

500 seems much smoother at handling some of the basic accounting tasks, for example both issuing and later reconciling checks in Dynamics AX seems a little tedious.

  • Better interaction with clients, I managed to obtain a perfect communication with each client who agreed to the acquisition of our banking services.
  • Better order and inventory management for my entire company. I managed to manage all customer orders in the same panel, in addition, this made it easier to meet the requirements of each order.
  • Visualization of the interests of the clients. Customer Focus did not provide detailed reports on what kinds of products or services have attracted the most attention from customers.

  • Positive: The program allows for a lot of data entry and splitting of information. It has the capability of replacing multiple programs and therefore saving cost.
  • Negative: The modules are cumbersome and not user friendly at all. As a result not many user are comfortable using it. This means that the program is not being used to its capacity.
  • Negative: Although the program has the capacity to be great, the user interface destroys that potential. Sage needs to seriously work on their program to simplify it. It's as if it still uses Command-line entries from 1995. Needs to be updated ASAP.
