Chose Later Social
Later is very affordable and kind of a hidden gem. While Sprout Social provides analytics that Later doesn't have, that's not a feature we were looking for. Multiple users do not cost extra money and the number of posts you get based on your plan is more than enough even if you …
Sprout Social is a great tool, however, the price for a smaller company like ours was prohibitive. Later doesn't have LinkedIn support the way Sprout Social does, however Later does have unique product offerings for Instagram that ultimately set them apart for our team. We've …
Sprinklr is a far superior tool that has more breadth and more tools under a unified platform. The listening, reporting, account management, advertising, content management was a lot more developed than the other companies we vetted. I spent weeks talking with various companies …
At the time, Sprinklr was cutting edge, plus Sprout gets pretty pricey the more accounts you need to update and doubly so, the more people you need to give access to.
As I mentioned earlier, I enjoyed SproutSocial best, however, you are forced to use the publishing module if you want the paid module. I don't think the modern engagement module is bad, but it is not user-friendly and makes it difficult to engage with users. Plus, you can't …
Sprinklr has all the features and more integrated into one platform and with API access to all platforms and superior data visualization. Sprinklr is the best tool for enterprise-level clients.
None of these tools are incredibly easy to use but I found Sprinklr to be the most robust. Moreover, Sprinklr's support and account teams are excellent. I believe this to be an additional benefit as they're always quick to help solve any questions or issues that may arise.
I think that Sprinklr is strongest in analytics and community management - however - the interface of the other platforms I have used is more friendly and other colleagues have a harder time with navigating the Sprinklr platform.
We chose Sprinklr because after testing out the others we realized this was the most efficient platform for our team to use. We also really appreciate the reporting, it's extremely useful for our marketing team when reporting to clients weekly.
I prefer Sprinklr above other social media tools because it has the most features of anything I've worked with. This can be complicated and overwhelming, but our customer success team has helped ensure that we effectively use the tools available.
I have not found another product that is as vigorous to a brand's communication with consumers. It is imperative that brands meet customers where 'they' are, and communicate with them like people, not data. I will continue to use and recommend Sprinklr for it's holistic …
It is clear that Sprinklr has built from the ground-up. Past tools have been clunky, buggy, lightweight, and promised features that were never delivered. The idea of "moderation" shows that other companies are not thinking in terms of relationships yet. Internal collaboration …

We looked at Sprout Social, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, & SocialEngage.
Sprout Social and EngageSocial are good products for mid-market organizations with relatively simple needs. They have excellent monitoring / listening capabilities, but less robust reporting capabilities.

Sprout is a lot easier to use, much more convenient and overall my favorite of the two. I like the sections they use for navigation more than I do the Sprinklr dashboard and reporting. I also prefer the options for scheduling posts because you can just upload the photo or video …
I will admit that I have not used Hootsuite, however, I do think if you have more then 40 or so accounts they might be able to handle that more. I have used Later Social & Buffer and I find Sprout Social easier to use and less clunky UI. Later & Buffer do work, but I used both …
We started this agency using Later and switched to Iconosqaure because we needed more in-depth reporting. We switched from Iconosquare to Sprout Social because of the continuous scheduling bugs/issues we were having with our account and our terrible experience with their …
Sprout Social is able to do all + more than the other platforms mentioned. And the user dashboard is easy on the eyes. Again, I'd like to add that Sprout Social puts an effort into their support team which makes it much more appealing to use the platform overall.
I have to say, I hated how old school Loomly and Hootsuite software seemed to have. With using Loomly, it took a lot of clicks to get a simple task completed. Hootsuite was on a trial basis, and I just didn't like the usability. Loomly was great for the analytics, but …
I think Sprout Social is probably top-tier and designed for agencies or social media content freelancers who need to spend a lot of time analyzing and strategizing content. For basic scheduling functions, it’s probably too powerful (like using a rocket to drive to the grocery …
I think Sprout Social is the most advanced of all these scheduling tools, it can handle the largest accounts and makes scheduling and responding to posts easy. it's the most expensive of these four (with meta for business free) but it's a you get what you pay for situation. I …
It is much more affordable. The analytics are much more robust. The scheduling function, AI capabilities, and listening are better. The website's interface is easy to use.
Sprout Social has everything each of these platforms have individually but put all in one. Sprout doesn't split everything up, it is easy to use and helps my team keep everything in one platform. Sprout also doesn't fail posts like Hootsuite did which made us switch.
Sprout Social was the most appealing option compared to competitors. It has the most comprehensive set of features while also being one of the easiest to learn and navigate.
I believe that Spredfast and Sprinklr are better in terms of community management and brand engagement. Spredfast has great reporting capabilities, however, the Sprout interface and overall display is easier to navigate and display a PDF for clients on how our content is doing …
We used Sprinklr and had many difficulties with customer service. Our contact frequently did not respond to our issues and would crash almost daily. Sprout Social has a much easier platform to use and understand, and they are always ready and willing to help or listen to any …
The free version is more than enough for personal use. But if you have a small business or if you're trying to grow your brand, it's better to use one of the premium plans. It's worth it. Later is especially useful if you manage multiple accounts for multiple brands/companies because you'll be managing everything with just one tool
In my perspective, I would say Sprinklr Modern Sales & Engagement is best suited for teams and organizations who are more involved in automating social media activities, getting a great analytical report on activity engagement, and generating lists and bolds that helps determine the trends and events, etc. One of the best tools that one could use for clients with every information they would need.
Sprout Social is a great tool, but it comes with a high per-seat price. In my opinion, this tool is great for a well-established brand, but for any start-up or multi-person agency, the cost can add up quickly and make or break your decision to use it. The reason for the lower recommendation score is a recent and ongoing issue I am facing with getting out of our current agreement. In our experience, Sprout Social makes it impossible to do, and the way they get you to agree to a year-long contract is a little shady. No contract is renewed after a year; just a simple email asking if you want to make any changes. In my experience, if you are not fully aware of what you agreed to a year ago, they will get ya, and you will be in the position we are in now. After experiencing this, I see that it is common among Sprout Social users looking for a more cost-effective option. Big bummer considering the monthly price users are paying.
Customization - Through Sprinklr's rules and robust custom field creation, you really can create a lot of customization for every facet of your business.
Listening - Their Listening Engine and Explorer are fantastic ways to proactively find engagement-friendly conversations, in addition competitively research your brand.
Care - Using their case formatting, messages and customer contacts can be routed and assigned easily to available reps, and their bot builder can help to automate your contacts without sacrificing a personal touch.
Social Scheduling: Sprout Social makes it easier than any platform I've used to schedule posts with each, and to batch-schedule the same post to run on multiple dates. The scheduling platform is intuitive and easy to understand.
Social Reporting: With just a few clicks of the button, you can easily export reports that are easy for both social media experts and complete novices to understand. I like how you can get a report within 60 seconds or so if needed.
Customer Service/Help: Whenever I've had a question, both my Sprout Social rep and the Help Center have been extremely easy to contact and quick to reply. Problems are solved very fast and it's made easy to understand.
I wish I could edit the look and feel of my pictures within Later a little easier. There are standard filters, but for brand sake, I need everything to be consistent.
I wish there was a direct integration with things like Canva and Lightroom to make uploading and editing my images seamless.
The biggest thing I wish Later did was allowing a better threshold for the free accounts. All of the helpful and useful features are for paid only (video posts, multi-image posts, analytics, etc). I can't justify the cost for just a few posts a month. I end up doing all of the video and multi-image posts manually, which lately has me questioning the benefit of Later's free version as a small business.
Overall, Sprinklr rewards users to do a lot of digging on their own to get to the more in-depth functionalities. For instance, the asset manager feature leads you to a dashboard with all the content you ever published but doesn't tell you what to do next or how to organize it
Sprinklr offers basic social listening features, but it is much more limited than other pure social listening players like Crimson Hexagon or Brandwatch. It is perfectly usable for a quick search but I wouldn't recommend it as your sole social listening platform
I would like for Personal Instagram Accounts to be able to integrate with Sprout Social's Employee Advocacy platform. You are able to connect personally accounts to Sprout Social itself, which is great, but for employee re-sharing internal stories, this is not possible unless it is with a Business Instagram account.
I would like for the left hand tool bar to be more user friendly. There are so many tools and settings that are available, and I would like for it to be simplified in a way that makes it less cluttered.
An improvement can be made with the Sprout Social Mobile App. The user friendliness of the app does not allow as much autonomy as the regular webpage.
I really do feel that Sprinklr is the most complete enterprise social media program. It covers everything you would need to do to run a strategic social media program. On top of that, the success managers are really the best. Our success manager goes above and beyond for us and has been so helpful to us with setting up some very specific repots and profiles. Paul (our CSM) has been great about keeping us up to date on the latest features and functionality as well as helping us set up innovative dashboards as need
Sprout Social is the best platform out there for social-media management, and now that I have all my clients using Sprout Social, it would be sort of silly for me to walk away format at this juncture. The only cloud on the horizon would be if Salesforce bought it (as has been rumored) and put it inside its walled garden.
The desktop site is almost perfect, I love it. I love that I can drag and drop, I love that I can easily and quickly switch to analytics and switching profiles... love the ease of link in bio. so great!
The user interface, training via Sprinklr university and detailed articles on almost every topic in the knowledge portal make Sprinklr a complete package. This is also GDPR compliant, helping us stay good with the info security. The layout of the navigation is easy and anyone new to the tool won't be overwhelmed
Sprout Social is straightforward to use - built for anyone regardless of tech experience to be able to navigate. It integrates pretty seamlessly to the native platforms and brings a lot of things together to make a seamlessly experience for seasoned social media managers.
Our account partners at Sprinklr are not only responsive to out needs, both domestically and internationally, but have consistently approached us with ideas on how to improve our communication and collaboration in a proactive manner.
Uptime was OK, but given the fact that we are in Europe, there were some specific problems: They tended to take the system down for maintenance during the night in the US, which was during our workday. This was definitely problematic and hard to explain to our clients.
Perfornace is not aan issue. The issues/bugs with this software are few and far between. And when one pops up the 24/7 support team is helpful, quick and informative.
Later are not just a software tool, they also provide marketing advice, tips, and tutorials via their blog. I’ve only had to reach out to them for help a few times and have found them to respond much faster than other tools in their category. I receive weekly emails with updates, marketing tips and invites to online events. I look forward to their emails as I’ve learned a lot of things that I’ve been able to actually implement.
Support is amazing. We have had to reach out [to] them only a few times in the past few years. Each time, they were back in touch with us within the hour or two, no matter the time. We've always had our issues addressed quickly and promptly corrected. They are a great team to work with.
The chat and online resources are great. The managers are too. They go through account reps pretty fast. Also, not a lot of onboarding once a product or service is sold. The ticket request system is terrible, they have too many people switching off roles, they take a long time to get back to you and don't plan on anything being fixed over a weekend - even if you have a problem. Their customer service via tickets is the worst.
I don't recall our training in detail. I know we met in person a few times, and did some over-the-phone product walk-throughs. It may have been somewhat informal -- I don't recall having any takeaways to refer to.
Through multiple webinars, easily accessible training documents, and ad-hoc sessions with my account manager I am never left in the dark when I have a question.
Their training is good, but the promotion of it is even better. I don't need or have the time for training, but I was always happy to know it was there. They did a great job sending updates out and making me aware when there was a new feature that I may want training for. As for the training I never used it, so I can't comment on that
The implementation personnel at Sprinklr are top-notch. They will work with you to make sure they setup Sprinklr in a way that best aligns with your structural needs
Make sure you do it all the way. Do not break it into phases. Pour yourself a coffee, start it in the morning and you'll be done before you finish that coffee.
I went with Later for the lower cost subscription. The Hootsuite copy features is missed, but Later has hashtag suggestions which is nice. I really need something to post across multiple platforms. I also needed the ability to schedule more than the 5 free scheduled posts offered by Hootsuite. Later has been working great for what I need it to do to support my small event promotion business.
As much as I get frustrated with Sprinklr, Sprinklr is a much cleaner platform than others I have used and I do obtain good data from the reports due to my custom filters, allowing me to pass along education onto product teams in regards to their specific lines.
Takes the best of all of these and puts them in one place. I am yet to find a feature that these have that are not on Sprout Social, while there are many missing features on these platforms that come with Sprout Social as standard.
Increased social media involvement - Since utilizing Later and another social media scheduling tool, we have seen our growth rise as much as 12% in just a few months. This includes followers, likes, and engagement. This is huge for us since social media is a great way to generate new customers and increase brand awareness.
Easier reporting - Analytics tools on most of the big three (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) are pretty limited. Later is a great way to take a look at our Analytics, and it makes it easy to understand the numbers.
Reports can be customized and exported easily in many different formats. I especially like the PowerPoint version of reports. It quickly and professionally creates a custom slideshow to show the metrics of the platforms and time periods you choose. This is a great way to keep your company's C-level executives informed on your team's progress and investing in your efforts. This is especially true for executives that do not personally use or understand the value of social media.
Brand reputation management is always a great investment. The dashboard alerts you in real-time when your brand or product is mentioned across any of the platforms and offers a quick and efficient way to respond. The Sprinklr customer experience cloud can be implemented across your entire organization, including CRM and email systems.
If you're not growing you're dying. That alone helps me with the ROI of using Sprinklr for my client's business objectives.
One positive impact has been a huge time saver for our team. Where we once had multiple systems and delays from producing content to approval to publishing, now everything is seamless.
Another positive impact is streamlining the onboarding process for new team members. Sprout Social is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to study even for someone completely new to social media.
One negative impact has been the time it takes to wade through irrelevant social listening posts. The filtering is not effective enough to eliminate the noise.
