The Perfect Process and Project Partner.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a Direct Mail fundraising agency. Using Workfront to initiate and execute campaigns and projects for all aspects of our production team. Strategy, creative, production, data, and billing teams all have tasks and requests. Replacing emails and spreadsheets with an accessible, visible system that encapsulates our entire process for large multinational clients, and those in a few counties. The scalability allows us to expand and contract wherever needed. Reporting gives us immediate insight and a constant overview of progress or potential risks. Accountability has been a huge challenge, with assignments and Request queues with SLAs, we are actively reducing project completion time and improving workflow efficiency. Reporting gives individuals the power to see what is relevant to them on a daily basis. Also allows us to have immediate presentations or stand-up meetings without spending hours preparing. The information can be delivered to stakeholders and clients routinely. We have also reduced the number of client review rounds by adopting the proofing system. Greatly reducing turnaround time both internally and with clients on creative as well as contract sign-off. Workforce gives us flexibility and scope for the future, integrations are our next step, and with AI as well, the future is looking very bright!

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Timeline templating.
  • Request queues for work.
  • Accessibility and oversight.

Cons

  • Expanded reporting, more standard options.
  • Colours and interface adjustment for screens.
  • Stability of widgets and proofing.

Return on Investment

  • Increased communication between teams.
  • Reduction in time, approx 9% across teams yoy.
  • Improved client feedback on getting through creative review process.

Adobe Workfront Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My team uses Adobe Workfront to manage projects and workflow. We are using it across several departments in my division. We still have a couple to integrate, and some functions to build to make it complete. We are hoping to transition from project management, to resource management. It's an in-house team, so tracking hours is something they're not excited to do, but we need to get a better handle on our productivity.

Pros

  • Project management
  • Approvals
  • Project requests
  • Resource visibility (we're working toward that)

Cons

  • Ease of implementation - it's pretty complex
  • Ease of use - we have some holdouts that aren't jumping in
  • Onboarding our teams

Return on Investment

  • It has helped us to track our projects and improve our ability to keep track of everything that's going through our pipeline
  • It's helped us be more efficient with our workloads
  • It's improved communication between departments
  • It's helped us track approvals, which is important for compliance

Other Software Used

Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign

Adobe Workfront is the centralized workflow system your team needs.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my previous life at Sam's Club, we used Workfront as our marketing operations planning, creative, and project management system. It allowed us to seamlessly manage all marketing initiatives, creative assets, and content review, timing, and execution of cross-channel campaigns. Today at Fidelity, we are just implementing Workfront, which I enthusiastically recommended to help drive clarity, productivity, and management of all resources.

Pros

  • Content Review - Allowing collaborative review in a time and concise manner.
  • Executive Reporting - Making it easy to share with executive leadership where, when, and how we are spending our time.
  • Planning - Helping to illuminate strategies and goals.

Cons

  • Creative Review: Perhaps leverage AI to provide a succinct summary of feedback from previous reviewers to help avoid duplicating the same feedback.

Return on Investment

  • Resource Management - Year over year, we were able to validate time and money saved by the implementation of Workfront by more than 2%, saving in non-working dollars and 9% savings in working media dollars.
  • Organization Restructuring and Automation- We also restructured our teams and implemented automation based on our analysis of how and what we spend our time on and the ROI for our respective business units.
