We acquired ImportOmatic to assist us in our data management across the data platforms of the organization. We use it to move data between Luminate and Raiser's Edge, as the basic integration did not suit our needs. It allows us to transfer information between data platforms in order to create more personalized appeals and engage with donors and prospective donors to the agency.
  • Provides an opportunity to easily move data from one platform to another.
  • Allows you to set up profiles once and reuse them for multiple data transfers.
  • Creating new features to adapt to the changing market.
  • Being hosted in RE Dabatase View has made it difficult to manage when problems occur.
  • We thought it would be easy to integrate with internal processes but has been more challenging than helpful.
ImportOmatic has been good for moving specific email groups into Luminate to create targeted emails to donors, but it has not been as easily used for our gift management processes. It has also been difficult as our IT is somewhat removed from the integration process, and makes it hard to solve problems when our IT doesn't understand our issues.

  • We have not noticed a huge increase in ROI through using Omatic specifically with email campaigns.
