TeamViewer is still in the process of replacing LogMeIn Central, which also is an excellent provider and has out-of-the-box features that I wish TeamViewer needs to add. The main reason for replacing the other product is the integration with Microsoft Intune which just works better on Apple devices.

We have enbded up using Remote Utilities ver 7.1 since it has all the features including, file transfer, remote command execution and full screen options, but most importanly the intergration to Active Directory made computer/server and users access easily managable. The overall usage cost per technician was also lower, so the intial start up cost we could manage.

Free Conference call, Go to Meeting and Log me in. We wanted a program that required less commitment. If we have a new project, we can sign up with teamviewer for 1 month to complete our project. With most computer sharing programs, you are required to sign up for one year. We don't really need that for our company. Free Conference call did not really have the reliability needed for our team.

We replaced a remote assistance software called DameWare. We were not able to assist users off our network with Dameware, we needed an always accessible tool like TeamViewer that allows assistance from any internet connection, anywhere

Teamviewer replaced logmein at my organization for the CEO's computer because Logmein kept crashing on his computer and was no usable and teamviewer worked with no problems. Most everyone else uses logmein still but if anyone else had the same problems as the CEO, i am sure he would recommend we switch them over to Teamviewer as well.

RealVNC. This worked well but only for machines on the local network. The scope of where machines were located changed drastically with the pandemic so we needed to remain flexible across home networks and business networks as well.

As stated on the main review, we were using SysAid ITSM's built-in remote support which relied an agent being installed on the user's PC, meaning if for some network reason, the agent wasn't successfully installed, one wouldn't be able to connect to the remote PC, let along the connection speed.
