Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ShadowPlex enabled our organization to generate honeypots en masse in an efficient and automated way, allowing our network to be better protected against bad actors without much effort on our part. In the most basic sense, it’s “set it and forget it”, until a threat occurs, and even then, we only have the analyze the data - the platform does the heavy lifting, persay.

In organizations where the threat of external intrusions into network assets is large (such as where financial gain can easily be made by accessing customer records) - a tool such as ShadowPlex is indispensable. We ran some scrums where we attempted to break into our own network in a few different ways, and each time our attack was logged, allowed to occur in a honeypot, and tracked by this platform. Very efficient.
