Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
It is used in one department within the organization. It was purchased as we had a need to train a number of external vendors and our enterprise LMS does not support that capability. As a plus we've started to use it for internal employees as well.
Pros
- User interface looks nice.
- Easy to assign the same content to both internal and external audiences.
Cons
- Limited help resources. Existing references only provide extremely simple instruction. If you are an admin who has the basics down, there are limited resources to help you troubleshoot and/or learn more about the system functionality without going to the support team.
- Reporting options and data access are limited. No way to pull bulk information on content expiration, all user data, etc.
- Support team provides limited troubleshooting/root cause analysis when an issue is raised. Adobe team has limited access within our account environment, so often they are unable to advise when issues arise.
- Enables us to train externals in the same platform we train internals.
Generally our support experience has been mediocre.
