Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Dayforce is being utilized by our company mainly for Human Resources for all aspects of Payroll Processing (functionality includes appropriate federal, state, and local tax withholdings, direct deposit information, performing pay calculations, Reporting, W-2's. etc.), Benefits, Recruiting and Onboarding.
Dayforce addresses business issues our company experienced in that: 1) pay calculations are performed very quickly when updates are made to employee data. 2) from a payroll perspective, appropriate local taxes are applied to the employee timely and accurately based on location and/or residence. 3) easy access for generating reports from past and present 4) provides the capability to easily make future dated entries via "Quick Entry" for future payrolls if necessary. 5) provides an immediate explanation of warnings and errors. 6) provided functionality for our company to reflect 2 different pay period dates for our Salaried Non-Exempt and Salaried Exempt groups.

- Performs quick and accurate pay calculations for employees pay based on real time.
- Provides an easy method of reactivating terminated employees as necessary when they need to be included for pay after termination.
- Allows you to easily generate "Pre" and "Post: payroll audit reports.
- Provides an easy view of payroll warnings and errors as you go.
- Even though having pay groups separated into like groups is a plus; it also becomes very cumbersome when all employees are included on a spreadsheet you may receive and now the employees have to be separated into like groups before you can successfully utilize the import feature.
- Would like to be able to enter dollars OR hours if necessary on a "Regular" pay code without having the system convert the flat amount into a rate and hours.
- Not implemented for a full year, so at this time all of the Return on Investment nor cost savings has been fully realized.
By having Payroll, Time Data, HR, & Benefits under one application; it provides the ease and flexibility of viewing data and provide the capability of the user to generate accurate pay calculations in a timely manner.
