Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Informer is available across the whole university and is currently being used to address end-users reporting/data needs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Non-technical users are able to get the data they need easily.
Set-up was easy.
We are still new users but those with a higher level of technical knowledge can create advanced reports/dashboards easily.

Cons

More detailed documentation, specifically about calculated columns and JavaScript examples would be nice.

Return on Investment

Less impact upon the IT department for reports/data extracts.

Likelihood to Renew

Users already have over 500 reports and it is really easy for most people to use without support.

Being new users, we are still learning and limited to basic reports right now...
