Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

I spend 99.9% of my day in HubSpot strategizing, executing and analyzing and I wouldn't have it any other way. The available resources are right there at your finger tips and they make the system easy to use. Implementation is straightforward and maintenance is even easier. HubSpot does a great job at creating a community of amazing talent. We aren't just users or clients, we are valuable assets who make the inbound methodology a success. Every single person I have had the pleasure of working with (support, account success, product development, event planning....) are all amazing and they make you want to be better at everything you do. Who wouldn't want to work with a company like that?
My recommendation...try it, what do you have to lose?
  • Engages Users. We are a community, not just a customer number.
  • Gives us the tools we need and want. We stay ahead of the curve.
  • Creates success. Our wins are their wins, so success is inevitable.
  • Ever-expanding (& evolving) product selection.
  • More integration with the Sales CRM to the Marketing side of the house.
  • More B2B functionality on the Marketing platform.
  • Deeper integration to Social Media platforms.
  • We have automated many sales and marketing functions that previously required manned hours, allowing a team of 1 sales person and 1 marketing person to tackle the work of 10 team members. All without taking the human element out of the equation.
  • We are able to measure our goals for specific campaigns with ease and share them with all stakeholders.
There are some really great systems out there that give you parts of the puzzle but none I have found that truly put it all together in a cohesive package that I can really dig into. That doesn't mean they aren't useful for their own purposes. Everyone's marketing program is different and I think that versatility is what I like most about HubSpot. HubSpot meets my needs and I was able to try it out before buying it. That is the best way to see if it will work for your own situation.
Are you going to dedicate the time and energy it takes to make your marketing go from great to amazing? If you can answer "YES!" to that, then you NEED HubSpot. They even help nudge you along the way in a mentoring kinda way that keeps you encouraged about the future and moving forward to see it become a reality.

Using HubSpot

15 - Only 3 use it actively, the others are starting to use it more often to produce content (about 13). We still have a few that have access but never use it because it is not part of their daily job to need it.
1 - Support of the system is fairly easy on the software side (the system has built-in support features). The more technical use of the system requires some knowledge of Sales & Marketing flows.
  • Sales Funnel Nurturing.
  • Marketing Automation.
  • Customer Engagement.
  • We make workflows work hard!
  • We have built integrations into our Sales side of the house to our Marketing side of the house seamlessly using the CRM, Contacts/Company Properties and Workflows.
  • More customer engagement from the rest of the company.
  • More in-depth blogging.
I wouldn't want to do my job without HubSpot.

Evaluating HubSpot and Competitors

Yes - Wordpress & Mailchimp. Much easier and consistent to use a single platform for both needs, plus the added benefit of analytics and nurturing for our prospects/clients.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Prior Experience with the Product
  • Vendor Reputation
  • Existing Relationship with the Vendor
  • Positive Sales Experience with the Vendor
  • Analyst Reports
A well built products is essential to keep our business moving forward at the speed we are ready to go.
I would have adopted HubSpot sooner. It has a free trial, what do you have to lose?

HubSpot Implementation

New users should really listen to their implementation specialists or agency partners. They know what they are talking about and their guidance is so extremely valuable. Sometimes, even if you know what to do, it is worth it to hear them out and really try to understand where they are coming from to help YOU.
Change management was minimal
  • Turning OFF the other systems.

HubSpot Support

They always (YES ALWAYS) solve my issue, which is usually a setting I didn't configure correctly or something that is being upgraded and needs a little nudge on their side.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Knowledgeable team
Problems get solved
Kept well informed
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support understands my problem
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
None
No - The front-line support team is so awesome, I don't need it for my use (general questions). Others that need a little extra support could consider it to have someone that is more familiar with their account.
Yes - Absolutely. All software has bugs, and owning that and correcting them is part of what makes their customer service wonderful.
Some of our contacts like to visit our site and use multiple email addresses. Every once in a while they opt out with the wrong email address (they meant to keep their work but used their personal...) I just have to send in a quick proof and they fix it immediately so my contact keeps getting messages.

Using HubSpot

I use HubSpot a ton. Hours and hours a day. I promise if it is ever slightly difficult to use I let the team know immediately, and they actually do something about it. Not in a few months, almost right away. As a beta tester for many of the new features I get to try things out way before they are introduced (a blessing and curse at the same time) but it shows they want to know what heavy users really think of something before they release it into the wild.
ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using
Familiar

  • Analytics & reporting are wonderful, and sent directly to your inbox if you want.
  • Workflows are great for building logical and trigger driven nurturing.
  • Contact properties can get confusing and require some structure to be created and upheld to keep data integrity.
Yes - Great. You cannot do everything within the mobile app, but the site itself is totally mobile responsive and I have found myself doing more and more on those devices. Whether I am sending out social via my phone or updating web or landing pages on my tablet it is super easy to use and capable.
