Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI

We are using if for all web development in our company. We have decided that it is our standard tool for web application. Our main case is an application that it is used in our whole process (from buying goods to dispatching final product) and this tool is being deployed in facilities around the globe. Other minor applications are being developed or were developed in last 2-3 years, all using Kendo UI.
  • One of the best things are the Grids and all its flexibility
  • Support is great!
  • Using Kendo UI with MVVM is awesome!
  • Kendo UI styles (look and feel) are great!
  • Documentation lacks details for a lot of widgets
  • Some widgets are not too flexible
  • Demos/examples usually are too simple and you don't have day-by-day usage examples
  • Faster development as we can focus more on business logic than in UI
I believe Kendo UI is perfect for scenarios where you need a lot of customization and flexibility. In our company, we are used to customizing some widgets and it's easy and quick to do it. I would not recommend it if JavaScript/JQuery knowledge lacks on your team.
