Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Usability

I have little experience with organizational chart software, and of the two others I have used, Lucidchart is by far the best in ease of use for less experienced users.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Lucidchart across the entire organization for departmental organizational charts, performance review assignments, and future succession planning. We also use the program to help manage our headcount, payroll, and promotions or additions to the staff.

Return on Investment

For us, primarily the benefit is communication on organizational chart changes, which frequently occurs in a family-run business.
We like the option to develop multiple organization charts for current and [...] future planning, which helps [...] identify priority positions for hire in the areas of growth and company need.

Integrations

Microsoft is the only application that we have integrated with at this point, and we have experienced no issues [...]. In the future, we would like to integrate Google and other applications [to] maximize the use of Lucidchart. Workflow is important, so we will look at any way we can enhance our productivity and communication.

Support Rating

We only made one call for support, and there were no issues we encountered. Our question was answered promptly. However, as indicated previously, the software is easy to use and, with a little skill, can be navigated and learned rather quickly, which is comforting to others who may not be as comfortable or developed in use.

Alternatives Considered

It is easier to use, flexible, and options than the two other organizational chart programs we have used in the past. We tried Organimi and [...] Visio, but both were cumbersome and did not have as many features as Lucidchart. By an easy choice, it was the best one for us to use and we are happy with it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for organizational chart development, whether current or future. It also clarifies the relationship and reporting structure.
