Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
Currently used for patching of various operating systems, including RHEL, Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu. Automated patching was the prime objective of implementing automation. We also use it for Netapp automated reporting, which is then used to make storage decisions.
- Feedback on job automation
- Ease of playbook creation (yaml)
- Scheduling and workflows
- Error message detailing (why something failed)
- Stability, we have encountered many bugs after implementing a patch even going n-1
- Less time being on-call paged for patching failures
- Less man made errors in repeatable tasks
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Can't have one without the other! Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform drives our RHEL environment, and our RHEL environment made Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform the obvious choice.
