Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds IP Address Manager (IPAM)

We implemented SolarWinds IPAM to eliminate the use of all our Network Spreadsheets. Not only have we accomplished that, but we have also found unique uses for the software, like passing interesting traffic over IPSEC tunnels to keep them active. IPAM also monitors all of our DHCP scopes and alerts the team if we are getting close to the maximum reservations.

  • I wish it integrated with the other SolarWinds products, without additional configuration.

SolarWinds IPAM does unique things in the way it monitors IP addresses and allows exports into PDF or Excel spreadsheets.

SolarWinds IPAM is a nice solution if you are trying to track an ever-expansive set of IP addresses and monitor DHCP scopes. It has additional functionality that we do not utilize as we do not want it to have too many teeth into our AD environment.
