Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

It is used to process hours worked for payroll and employee leave. It is typically used by HR and Accounting departments, but we have implemented the mobile app, which allows all employees to see certain data. Our employees across the company use it to request and approve leave and time off as well.

We are already experiencing cost savings through efficiency gained by using the system and reports. We also use UltiPro for our subsidiary in New York and it allows us to review and monitor their HR/ payroll data. It is great to have both companies on the same platform. We are not 100% there yet, but eventually we could have one HR department involved with both companies and this software makes that goal possible.
UltiPro blows away the competition as it is so much easier to use and integrated. It is much easier to customize reports in UltiPro vs the other systems we have tried and reviewed. In addition, the data is easier to find. I would not switch back for any reason at all.

It is great for payroll and HR because it makes some of the compliance and reporting more efficient. It is also great that it automatically feeds our retirement plan provider with census and contribution data. We have not integrated it with healthcare, but I imagine it can be useful to feed those third-party providers with data as well.

UKG Pro Support

sometimes issues don't get resolved properly. we need support to see things through to completion in the eyes of the client, not the eyes of the service tech. the service tech may think the issue is resolved, but it may not be. they sometimes close the case before checking with the customer to ensure the solution provided works to their satisfaction.

no, don't think it is appropriate to charge extra for support. we bought the product because we thought it would work, and when it doesn't we expect help to fix it.
Our implementation was excellent. Cathy Mattscheck was the Senior System Consultant for our implementation and did a fantastic job getting us up to speed.

Summer Walden has been very responsive and helpful in having outstanding cases and issues addressed for us as they come up.

Setting up our 401k plan file feed was a breeze.

UKG Pro Reliability

i think the system is reliable. we have rarely had an issues of reliability other than recently when they upgraded and Google Chrome was no longer supported.
usually it is. recently, there was an upgrade that rendered the use of google chrome useless. this was a problem!
sometimes UKG runs slow. it does not appear to slow down other systems

Integrating UKG Pro

we have had problems completing the integration with our COBRA provider. We need help finalizing the testing. Also, test scenario employees were entered in the live database which caused a problem with our health insurance file feed.
