Vertex O is used by the Sales and Use Tax Department. This department consists of three people. The business problems Vertex O addresses deals with the taxability of sales since we do sale appliances. It also helps in determining exempt customers as it relates to resale. This helps when looking up exempt customers and etc.
- Vertex O Series holds information as far as our exempt customers are concerned.
- Vertex O also helps with providing the taxability of customers.
- Vertex O provides in-depth information on the buyer and the sales info.
- Because I am still learning the ends and out of Vertex O, I cannot really tell where improvements are needed. I'm sure with further use I would be able to answer this question in more depth.
- Again, the positive impact comes when audit info is requested. Being able to pull reports requested by the auditor in detail is important.
