Vertex Indirect Tax O Series
Overall Satisfaction with Vertex
The tax department recently implemented the Vertex O Series in direct combination with our SAP system. We use an on-premise version. Implementation took a lot longer than expected and is more involved then we anticipated, but are happy with the results and once completely finished maintenance and updates to maintain the systems will save the company both time and resources. We have worked in combination with consultants in testing and implementation. Vertex is always very helpful and customer-oriented which is one of our favorite aspects of the services. We also utilize their Vertex Return service in combination with the O Series system.

Price and features are the most important factors in deciding which software to implement. We want to make sure they will meet our needs and improve processes while also increasing efficiencies.
- We are using Vertex O Series to create some user-defined industry-specific tax drivers.
- We are able to identify areas that we may owe use tax that we were not aware of before.
Vertex Exchange and local user groups have been a great asset in getting ahead of new features and planning out implementations of upgrades to the system.
