Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Manage campaign across different categories with the following benefit - quickly identify milestones, overdue task to prioritize ( through dashboards) - quickly create timelines by using blueprints - @mention to follow up on task and have traceability on - Edit function to ensure different versions are available for audit purposes - Resource management - allocate projects to different department through job roles - Celebrate success - by using Wrike we can quickly see how much work has been done by the team and celebrate. - Single source of true - Quickly step into when colleagues are on holidays

Pros

  • Dashboards are brilliant way to monitor work and it is now very visual
  • Blueprint - time saver!
  • Custom field - great to customise projects
  • Automation - reduce adm

Cons

  • Request form - it cannot be saved by the submitter and then continue
  • Workflows - is available for all account it cannot be reverted to Space only.
  • Resource management - only can be done if creating tasks. It could be good to be able to do it at project level
  • Minimise the number of PM needed so reduction in resources
  • Continuous improvement - Clear understanding on processes and what can be improve
  • Business continuity during changes
Wrike has better customization and integrations Flexibility to give different access depending on what it is needed. Spaces provide independence for each Team to set up what they need Open to feedback from users and implementing changes suggested by users Learning material allows implementation and improvement without needed a high understanding of technology.

Wrike is suited for any type of project and project management approach due to its multiple views (Gantt Chart, board, table, etc.) Any BAU process can easily be crated in Wrike due to the flexibility on creating workflows, custom fields, etc. I don't think it is good for creative/ ideation part of the project management and interactive sessions like Miro board.

2 - It should be someone that understand the end users need, a good project management skills and regularly keep on top of any Wrike updates so they can be shared and implemented. They should have people skills to overcome barriers to adopt the tool but also good listeners in order to gather feedback and amend accordingly.

Without Wrike, my job would take much longer.
I also like the fact that Wrike is evolving all the time, adapting to new technology and needs. It can be customised and it is very intuitive.
Also, I have a very good account manager that helps with any challenges that I might experience.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

The introduction of Wrike was done shortly before I joined
I would look into the end user experience, not only the project manager (user), but the collaborators.

Wrike Training

Good combination of videos and exercises. Some videos are old though. I think Wrike would benefit of a bit of clean up

Configuring Wrike

If you like your spreadsheet and colour coding, Wrike is your tool. You can transfer almost whetever format you use into Wrike and make you boring spreadsheet live
First think how you would like to look like and then implement it. Do not worry if you don't get it right the first time, you can always amend and build up

It is a tool that can be easily customised to each department needs and also sharing some fields.
They are usually very quick at responding to any issue
