[Applied] Epic is great for holding information but it does take time to enter data correctly if you want to be able to complete reports accurately[.]

Wunderite
Any commercial insurance agency that struggles with having their insureds manage schedules that are needed to make sure things are properly insured. So if you have fleets of vehicles and drivers, lots of inland marine equipment, multiple locations, Wunderite would be a great way to help your agency manage this for your insureds.

Pros
Applied Systems
  • Account Management - I like the way the system organizes the data for each account. It is easy to search and find any client we are looking for and then once within that record, it is easy to navigate to the necessary policy or screen.
  • Task Management - once everyone was trained and on the same page, the ability to move tasks within the system from one person to the next really helps with the "passing the baton" from one team member to another. The task will come right up on the initial screen so the user knows they have something new to do.
  • Reporting - the system drives the majority of the reporting we do as an agency and it is great when working within the system.

Applied Systems
  • Some of the questions in the applications are repetitive.
  • The manual is not especially user-friendly - our agency is working on a new one for easier navigation.
  • Better integration with our other software programs would be beneficial to our agency.

Support Rating
Applied Systems
I have not necessarily used support from Applied Epic directly, but have gone to my trainer who has gone to support. I am usually able to get an answer relatively quickly, so I can assume the support team is very knowledgeable and prompt with their help.

Alternatives Considered
Applied Systems
I think it's much easier to use applied epic then TAM. More user-friendly and more intuitive. I feel Applied Epic is a much more productive solution.

Wunderite
Wunderite provides a cleaner user interface for our agency and our insureds. The ability to manage schedules with our insureds is a clear winner. We were looking for something we could use with our clients to manage their assets. Broker Buddha was better at cross-form mapping, so their forms process is much better
