Likelihood to Recommend CDK Drive is great at connecting all the team members in service/parts. We used to have a foreman who had to dispatch work to each technician, which is now done through CDK Drive. Technicians can get help with part requirements/needs through CDK. Before, each technician had to go back to the parts department and wait. CDK Drive is good at offering an option to record and send a video of what was found on a service diagnosis, this helps with transparency and trust.

Some questions to ask about the software should revolve around how your practice operates and where you would like to be in the future as far as efficiency and technological advancement go. Other questions to consider would be wheather or not you are trying to adhere to Meaningful Use (MU) guidelines set forth by the federal government.

Read full review Cons Possibly because of the web-based nature, there are times when it can be slightly slow and laggy. Some functions are less intuitive to use than Reynolds and Reynolds but that is more of a personal preference. Read full review RevolutionEHR occasionally crashes due to server maintenance. This is highly uncommon but it can prove to be a hindrance when an entire office is dependent on the software. RevolutionEHR leaves little user customization when it comes to optical ordering as there is no way to add proprietary products that you use to the drop down menus. Exam charts are preset and cannot be customized to how your office does exams. Information bubbles and sliders are not able to be customized by the user. Read full review Usability I gave it an 8/10 because there is a earning curve in which you have to spend some time with the software to gain some footing. Once you are past the learning curve it gets significantly easier. Revolution EHR does have a sandbox mode where staff can work in a safe mode without risking real-life data entry errors.

Read full review Alternatives Considered CDK Drive is way better, but from my experience, the integration process was very long and very painful and we feel CDK Drive could've made that less painful and less lengthy. Once it is working the way it should, I am sure that we will love it. Right now though, every time something else goes wrong, it builds on the frustration of the other 50 things that went wrong prior.
