Cisco Aironet and Catalyst 9100 Access Points

Within our ever-changing environment, we have found the [Cisco] Catalyst 9100 Access Points to be a great fit for all situations we have thrown in them. Our locations that have upgraded to the [Cisco] Catalyst 9100 Access Points have also been pleasantly surprised by the additional coverage they provide, compared to previous access point models.

Juniper WLA & WLC Series (discontinued)

Back in the day these were really well priced, and had some amazing coverage. After using newer Cisco gear, while more expensive, they dont shine so brightly anymore. They did have trouble under load as well. I would recommend them to someone only if they were really constrained in their budget for wifi equipment.

Performance is an important requirement in the wireless network and the [Cisco] Catalyst 9105 [Access Point] manages to deliver great throughput as it is a WIFI 6 device with MU-MIMO 2X2 and beamforming technology. [It also] supports a medium density of users without experiencing internet downtime issues.

Although the Cisco pricing within all the units I test is the most expensive one, I can satisfied with its performance.

Scalability is not a concern for this product. We can readily add or remove access points as needed, depending on the requirement or the performance recorded - but so far everything has been smooth!
