Cisco Catalyst 3650 Series Switches
The Cisco Catalyst 3550 Series switches are really well designed for access switches. Means connecting end-users or hosts in a simple manner. They are powerful, offering good PoE performance and overall good performance (no CPU issue, no memory leak), and the IOS-XE is pretty stable on a daily basis

Based on my previous experience with other vendors, Cisco is worlds apart. I can manage every feature I need with great flexibility.Other vendors that only provide web UI, limited functionality exists. The other benefit is that since Cisco has been a strong player for so long, their training is being done in some high schools now expanding the knowledge to more of the workforce.

Cisco Catalyst 3650 Series Switches
We have used general-purpose budget switches in the past to power our CCTV network and have suffered multiple failures and throughput issues. Most of the products did not live up to their specifications when it came to throughput and operating environment. We were not receiving the assurance level needed for this critical part of our infrastructure, and were looking to upgrade. After using Cisco for several rollouts, we have seen a drastic improvement in uptime and performance

Cisco is top of the class when it comes to comparing them to other vendors in the network hardware environment. They may have a higher price-point, but they justify it with great support and a very long lifecycle.
