Yesware, from Vendasta since the October 2022 acquisition, is a service for salespeople that helps them close deals faster. An email service tracks email, templates responses and syncs to CRM.
Good! The last remaining feature that I had used Yesware for was their bump to the top of the inbox and send later feature and now that Outreach has those, I have no need for Yesware!
Outreach has so many more features than I was ever able to find when using Yesware. The support team is an even keel and I was able to do similar things but with less automation. Storing and creating templates and snippets in Yesware was easier and it integrated more …
Outreach is a great tool, but it may not be the most effective one. It is very cost-effective, but teams can easily outgrow outreach. Outreach is more sophisticated than Salesloft. However, Apollo is far more refined and more in-depth from a functionality standpoint. I would …
We stuck with Outreach in the past because Groove did not have as advanced trigger options, but we liked the benefits that Groove has with a native Salesforce integration. Ultimately, we stayed with Outreach because we did not have the bandwidth in order to implement a new …
Outreach and Salesloft are incredibly similar tools, but Salesloft just barely gets to edge for me because Salesloft's customer service is significantly better than Outreach. Both tools have nearly identical capabilities, but actually using Salesloft and fixing issues with it …
Outreach has the superior task workflows and sequence workflow. If that is what you are hoping to use Outreach has you covered. They also have the pipeline management that is passable and then Kaia which can add in the call coaching. Overall it has everything that you need in …
HubSpot is limited in the automation of its sequence, which at this time is still in the product roadmap. For example, on HubSpot sequences, even with the professional package, you cannot have different threads in one sequence; therefore, followup is extremely difficult. For …
The Outreach UI is more intuitive than any that we evaluated
Outreach structure is significantly more automated than competitors -- We have used Pardot, and their structuring of email sequences is difficult to do at scale
We have been working to build internal infrastructure off …
It was more affordable and allowed for more dynamic outreach campaigns. Took a bit of time to get up and running, loaded with copy, and the team trained but now saves us time.
Yesware is less robust than Outreach. Outreach might be overkill for your needs. Outreach is a great SDR tool. Yesware is great for strategic email outreach.
Yesware is much more reliable compared to others. The tracking feature is the most outstanding feature of this software which is not provided to the same extent by other software. Users can track each and every email, whether email has been opened or not, which device has been …
Yesware was a lot quicker and easier than other prospecting email tools I've used. The integration with Gmail was also much cleaner and easier than others. They also sent more helpful tips on how to send the best email campaigns and utilize the tool most effectively.
Yesware's main benefit versus the 3 other apps that we use/have used are the ease of use and stability - it performs well while not overloading users with a ton of options.
I prefered Yesware over ClearSlide. Much cleaner functionality, however yesware does not have the screensharing capabilities that ClearSlide has. I find that Outreach although it has glitches, is much cleaner when looking to track stats regarding drip campaigns.
We use Clari as the primary way to manage our sales business, our opportunities, and our forecasting. Clari provides a very clean, digestible, and easy to manipulate format to view and manage all of the Salesforce information. The fact that Clari is able to provide an easily customizable set of columns and groups, coupled with the ability to write back to Salesforce is fantastic. Anyone in a mature sales organization will find Clari highly effective at helping manage their funnel of opportunities and their business.
Outreach is outstanding for volume outreach, as it allows you to touch many prospects and accounts with limited time, while also storing data on historical interactions with prospects. It can be useful for SDR/BDR roles, as well as SMB and MM volume of sales pipe, but I don't think it would be nearly as useful for enterprise sales where more strategic and lower volume outreach is needed. I believe that incorporating more AI assistance with writing would make it a more useful tool for strategic sales.
It works for my company and my problems. If you need a Sales CRM you can go for higher-end products that will give you what Yesware gives along with other stuff. Wherein we had specific problems we wanted to solve. -We needed a solution for a smaller team within our bigger sales team. -We needed a solution to be easy to use point and click and did not require any setup. -We needed to have a better solution to YAMM.
Tracking open rates, link click rates, and reply rates. This allows us to compare different templates in order to see which allows for the most interactions and meetings set directly from email engagement.
Seeing exactly when someone opens an email and whether it is in their normal location. Also if they are opening on a mobile device versus a computer to be able to organize the set up of the email in a more beneficial way.
Being able to save Templates for Mail Merges to avoid the duplication of effort that other mass email systems utilize.
When sequencing, I need to mark multiple leads, and using the search bar, it will uncheck all the leads that were previously checked.
Calls drop constantly.
Syncing contacts and leads with SF is challenging. The buttons to synchronize with CRM are available when searching for a contact or lead, but you cannot sync it when viewing the lead or contact itself.
The ability to unwrap iframe embeds on email (e.g. if I send a Vimeo link over email, have that video thumbnail show and link out to a video)
Removing recipients from a campaign. If my ruleset is to remove a contact from a sequence after he/she replies, sometimes a person will reply from another email and Yesware doesn't recognize it. (e.g. if I add jeff@amazon.com to my campaign and jeff.bezos@amazon.com replies to my thread, Yesware will still send an email to jeff@amazon.com unless he is manually removed)
I will renew my Clari Subscription for many reasons. 1. Streamlines Sales - Clari automates many manual tasks like note-taking and transcripts. This frees my sales team so they can focus on closing deals. 2. Increased customer retention - Clari helps me identify potential churn risks and take proactive measures. 3. AI-Driven Insights
It's a strong tool that helps our sales development team manage a large number of qualified leads. The sequence framework ensures that every lead receives enough contact attempts that we have confidence that we're not abandoning our prospecting too early without the overhead of managing those activities manually.
I like the product, but due to the limitations I don't love it. I'm curious to revisit other options, particularly in lieu of Yesware's recent price increases (although I'm on a legacy plan). Some of my challenges to be browser related (I'm on an older computer) -- I'll have to see how things go when I receive my new computer. If the glitches (especially with regard to tracking accuracy and send later feature) go away, I'd be much more inclined to renew
Clari's UI does not resonate with new users. The backend query updating takes quite long time to update. Lots of fixes are needed without answers or solutions offered by the Clari team. If set up correctly with clear recommendations from the Clari team, all the previous issues may be resolved, however the usability is tied closely to set up.
Overall, Outreach is usable and scalable across team sizes. The only reason I give a nine and not a 10 is that there are improvements that can be made within the reporting feature. It is usable, but not everyone can easily self-learn the best practices. At times, it may require building 2-3 reports and then using a VLOOKUP in Excel to achieve the desired outcome.
Yesware is easy to setup and get connected in existing systems. We were able to get started sending the day we puchased our subscription because of the addon for Gmail and easy connection to our CRM. It's also very easy to use in the day to day, kicking off campaigns and seeing their status to as about as easy as it gets. I have not concerns about usability
becasue end of year or around end of Q due to background changes my total number dissapear and make it hard in that week to see forecast numbers accurate
In our years as Outreach customers, I can count the number of outages we've experienced on one hand. Generally, outages have been very brief and have not completely frozen our access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance is always proactive communicated and the hours never interfere with standard business hours or scheduled sequences.
Outreach's performance overall is very high quality. Pages load right away. Occasionally it might take a minute to generate a report, but not any slower than in other platforms I've used. Outreach is integrated into many of our other tools and seems to be a very clean integration. Everything runs very quickly.
Clari is very willing to jump in and build out use cases. They will work to do anything for you. That said, their follow up is not great. We have had to reach out for follow up several times on a project, which is still not complete. I wish they taught us how to complete what we want, rather than doing it in house for us
There is almost zero customer support. What they do offer is a live chat feature which is active during "normal" business hours which is nice for instant inquiries if someone is available. However, you do not have a dedicated representative to address questions or concerns and their billing process is confusing and messy without any support.
Because it deserves this rating. The features and functionality provided are great. Our Sales team is very satisfied with this software as it integrates very well with our other software like Outlook, Salesforce, etc. Yesware provides great follow up with customers, which is essential for sales. Meeting scheduling is also flawless.
We were trained in person and it was very easy to understand. And if we missed any pointers there was more training given to us. So i always like this tool. The drafts were also prepared for us to sync outreach with our devices so it was straightforward. Highly recommend
Lots of attention from the Outreach training team, with a great willingness to customize to our needs. To be clear, you get out what you put in. If you don't work with them, you'll get cookie-cutter training. But we asked for a lot of customization, and they delivered what we asked for.
I expected more assistance in connecting Outreach with Salesforce. We have a basic connection, but many fields were left without a sync. We can apparently sync data without adding the app into Salesforce, but believe we could get more functionality with a better integration. The basics of setting up our sequences and using Outreac to run them was was fine.
At the time of selection, Clari was a more mature product than Xactly Forecasting. We did not want to experience growing pains with Xactly. Pipeline Inspection from SFDC was just becoming available. We had already selected Clari before we learned about Pipeline Inspection.
Outreach is designed with a workflow-first approach, which helps ensure that reps adopt the process and allows AI and machine learning to understand the full funnel. On top of this, Outreach offers more robust functionality, reporting, and integrations than other competitors. Outreach also understands user workflows, which helps influence rep behavior and outcomes.
All of these tools do what Yesware does, and more; but Yesware does the follow-up email portion best, in my experience. It is reasonably priced and is regularly adding new functionality to make it a sticky license for us to have. Yesware does not have predictive analytics or a particularly strong dialer solution, but it does provide team-wide and template efficacy tracking, and a basic dialer.
When I first joined the company we were a sales team of 10. Over the last 4 years we have grown to 30 and have used Outreach the entire time. Everyone uses Outreach and it works for virtually any size business. The seat model works perfectly for any size company plus Outreach can handle hundreds of thousands of emails being sent out. We never have to worry about throttling or any type of lag time based on usage. This is key when scaling.
It's helped me speed up my ability to reach out to customers. I like bulk composing but would be even better if Outreach was able to recommend (daily/weekly/etc.) who we should reach out to based on intent/other metrics.
I will say outreach has improved our ability to book more meetings simply because it enables volume activities.
I think net positive ROI from generating meetings that lead to closed deals. Ultimately very difficult to quantify the ROI since it is essentially automating a lot of the manual prospecting done by BDRs/AEs - so ROI is likely higher than just that quantifiable number around deals closed.
