ClickFunnels
Chose ClickFunnels
Infusionsoft has a better campaign builder, but lacks the ease and customization of ClickFunnels' page builder, and you can't create a series of pages like you can in ClickFunnels.

Overall, Infusionsoft is way more robust, but ClickFunnels makes a great sidekick to a CRM that …
Chose ClickFunnels
Although I believe they serve different purposes since HubSpot has a website builder, I can easily say that ClickFunnels can build pages much better than HubSpot. HubSpot's magic is in their CRM, which is connected to their automated intelligence that reports metrics in an easy …
Chose ClickFunnels
  • Ontraport is too hard and far more complicated than ClickFunnels.
  • Samcart - took a test drive but no training, bad funnel support, and there wasn't email automation.
  • Unbounce - less expensive, but you give up flexibility, features, and a terrible payment gateway option, no email …
Chose ClickFunnels
The other programs have similar features and all work to capture leads and grow a business. The difference is the marketing support training behind the platforms. Since I have learned from people inside ClickFunnels, I feel the software makes the most sense for me.
Chose ClickFunnels
Infusionsoft does not stand a chance against the ClickFunnels company and community currently. The amount of value and the way this company has changed the way marketing is done is insane.
Keap
Chose Keap
Infusionsoft provides more features than either of these other solutions. Because it provides it's own CRM and E-Commerce features, it is more comprehensive in what it provides. These other solutions are solid in different areas where they provide similar features. For example, …
Chose Keap
They had some features that were better, for example, ClickFunnels landing pages are much better, but they don’t come close to the automation power of Infusionsoft. ActiveCampaign is laid out a little better for new users, but overall, their automation is lacking. It can’t do …
Chose Keap
Infusionsoft is much more sophisticated and allows you to do far more than Mailchimp. The tradeoff is that it's 10X harder to use.
Chose Keap
Keap functionality and ease of use are better for me - being able to tie everything into one package and not have the laborious task of repeat data entry, maintaining several places where information needs to be stored and updated increase my business accuracy of the …
Chose Keap
I tried HubSpot, and it has many great features. For example, the CRM is free and allows quite a few things initially for those that just get started. However, for more advanced setups, Infusionsoft felt easier and more straight forward. Infusionsoft also seems to be more …
Chose Keap
As an agency, we use all of these tools for various clients. Keap is our preferred solution because it has the most customization for any business model, makes marketing automation so easy, and keeps ample customer data that can be used for marketing and sales alike. It has …

I actually prefer to use some of these other platforms over Keap/Infusionsoft, however for this particular client we had implemented Keap more than 5 years ago when it was the only platform available to choose from. The problem now is that there are over 200,000 people on the …

Chose Unbounce
Unbounce is a robust tool that will allow users to continuously create and optimize landing pages as they grow. The product overall is easy to get started with, but it may take some time to set up and get used to the navigation. Support from tech, design and marketing teams …
Chose Unbounce
unbounce performs as well as both ClickFunnels and HighLevel. I would say it is better as a landing page builder than HighLevel, as HighLevel does multiple things, where as unbounce is a dedicated landing page builder, so it is more effective becaue of this focus. I prefer the …
Chose Unbounce
As far as landing page builders go, in my opinion, Unbounce is the best and easiest to use.

ClickFunnels
Great for an all-in-one marketing package. From the web page to lead and email capture. Running ads to a sales funnel page to capture leads to a sale on a shopping cart page and the ability to up-sell and down-sell products with ease. Whether your business is face-to-face or online ClickFunnels has everything and more that you require to run marketing.

Keap
Keap is very good at contact management and automation creation but weaker at email campaign creation. I was particularly interested in a function where when manually entering a new contact, you are then able to email that contact using a premade HTML template. It will currently not do this. There is a workaround, but it is unnecessarily ponderous.

As I am using this platform for a long time, I believe I am happy with the services I am getting from this outstanding software. It has made my landing page experience better than ever without any coding knowledge to apply. It has upgraded my business in a positive direction and I believe I am using this software for many years to come.

Pros
ClickFunnels
  • The ease of building landing pages is incredible. It's just drag and drop, and still very customizable. It's simple enough that anyone can build a page, not just a designer. They have simple templates to start from and you can make a great branded page easily from there.
  • It's great at generating leads. You can embed simple opt-in forms in webpages at the top of your landing page and integrate with your CRM and it also stores your leads in the system as well. Opting in can trigger a number of different actions, including a thank you page, a second offer, or trigger an automated email.
  • ClickFunnels's biggest strength is sales funnels. Easily create a continuous set of pages that get someone from a visitor to a subscriber, and to a paid customer. You don't have to "glue" a bunch of different systems together like a page builder, shopping cart, eCommerce tool, email marketing tool, or CRM. It's all interconnected so you can churn out sales quickly, all automated.

Cons
ClickFunnels
  • End USER EXPERIENCE - OH. MY. GOODNESS. This software needs help in the design department. I don't like critiquing people or products, but in this case, you need to get someone to help you with design to really make your landing page look professional (this is attached to your brand image). A lot of direct response marketers use this platform for younger brands, so typically the designed landing pages on this software don't look great.
  • User navigation - It's not necessarily user intuitive.
  • The software has interior platforms for membership courses - But this is not a great user experience for your course. A micro-course, 7-day trial, or mini-course as an opt-in offer might work here, but COACHES, do not use this as the delivery system of your membership course. Go elsewhere for that, like Teachable, MyKajabi, or Thinkific.
  • They need to make more room for templates. The basic plan of $99 only allows you to have 20 landing pages. According to industry leaders, you should have 40 per offer.

  • More articles and videos on how to use the various functions of Keap

  • One of the cons of Unbouncewas the learning curve. We are very familiar now with the ends and outs but in the beginning, it would have been super helpful to have some sore of learning up front.
  • The pricing structure is not great for our particular organization. We will never need unlimited page views but we do often need more landing pages we make it work but the pricing model could be improved.
  • The reporting could be a little better. We supplement with some of our own trackings but for the most part, the reporting from Unbounce is a basic level understanding of how the page is performing.

I use the funnel on a daily basis and spent a significant sum to hire someone to set this up and design the funnel, there's no way I won't renew the funnel. It is easy to maintain, very cost-effective, and doesn't require a lot of my time to manage properly.

We have invested a lot into Infusionsoft and are using it to automate our processes and marketing. Changing CRMs would have a HUGE cost for us and based on our evaluations, the grass isn't greener elsewhere. Infusiosoft fits most of our needs and is slowly getting better each year. Their support is great and we will continue to use them until something much better comes around or our company outgrows a small business CRM.

The nonprofit discount makes it so affordable that my client was happy to continue their subscription all year round. They have used it to build landing pages to capture expressions of interest for their next recruitment window. It hasn't quite produced the sort of results we were hoping for, but I'm not sure that's Unbounce's fault.

Very easy to use and manage. There have been a few times I have needed to make some edits or change the flow of the funnel, and even though I didn't do the initial setup, I have no problems figuring out how to make the changes on my own without their help.

You do need to spend some time on-boarding and implementing the software in order to have full functionality. We were lucky - we had colleagues at the university with experience with Keap and then hired an intern familiar with the software to get us set up and ready to use it. We've had some functionality issues with it along the way and that has frustrated myself and the other uses in our department.

Support Rating
ClickFunnels
I don't think you should have to wait for more than an hour or two to get in touch with someone when you need support. Because they primarily have overseas help, it's typically at least until the next business day until you get help. Then there is the language barrier to deal with. It's not ideal. I have contacted support a few times and have gotten answers. However, I consider myself much savvier than most in terms of understanding all the behind the scenes issues that go on with building a website and online marketing funnels. So if I were a beginner or not as familiar with how to code and create websites, I would think the support is terrible.

ClickFunnels
Yes, I highly recommend you hire an expert for this. While CF claims that anyone can set up a funnel, there's a difference between having a funnel and having a funnel that works. Between the design and the copy you use, unless you have a marketing background, hire an expert.

Choose a subdomain that is appropriate for multiple types of pages. You don't want to have to keep changing it. I went with ClickFunnels due to recommendation by a digital marketing mentor. WordPress to me had too much maintenance in the background and it was more time consuming to build pages at the time. Keap is fast. The learning curve is shorter and they have an academy for learning with videos quite extensive that explain a lot of different scenarios, specially when you need to customize scenarios of automations and segments. Is cheaper if you consider that this services CRM + Mailing don´t come often in one package and the realiability to send mails is quite good.

Despite my review for unbounce being not the greatest review or score in the world, when stacked up against its two biggest competitors, I'd prefer Unbounce over Leadpages and Instapage. Leadpages drag and drop editor, integrations, and overall UI/UX is 10x worse than unbounce and unbounce really leads in the category of nice templates and quickness to a production landing page with much better options and integrations.

  • My clients make more money with it than without it
  • Other builders aren't necessarily better...we've tried and keep coming back to CF
  • If CF 2.0 (which launches around March I'm told) is anywhere near as impressive as Russell Brunson makes it sound, it will be a TOTAL game changer when compared to the current version...(which will still be available as well)
