ClickGuard vs. Onfido

ClickGAURD is highly suitable for detecting and preventing fraudulent clicks and helps generate higher revenues with the same marketing budgets. The reports created by ClickGUARD are also very helpful in understanding the impact and returns on the campaigns. It also helps identifies the geographies from where the fraudulent clicks are coming to help us take preventive measures. Having detailed documentation to get it deployed and get users onboarded quickly will be very helpful.

Onfido is well suited for integrations within a mobile app for automated document processing and validation e.g. driver's licenses, passports etc. Onfido is less well suited for web applications since the quality and accuracy of the checks is very dependent on the quality of the image captured which in general is less high quality from a webcam.

• The real-time notifications are one of the best features of ClickGUARD for me.
• Automatic malicious click deflection is also a feature that I appreciate.
• There have been instances where a large number of clicks were made, but the resulting conversions were much below expectations.

• Facial recognition of driver's license information

• The one thing I've noticed that I believe is a disadvantage would have to be the lack of support on weekends or holidays which is understandable but at the same time, I'm sure people expect to still be supported right around the clock if that is what is advertised.

• Dashboard - current analytics are very high level pass, consider, fail - would like a more detailed breakdown of reasons why consider / fail aggregated in an easy to view format.
• Speed consistency - sometimes Onfido checks are very fast, sometimes it takes a lot longer
• OCR - we had issues with OCR data quality and had to add a step for users to verify information captured via OCR from Driver's Licenses.

I actually haven't found the need to use their customer support as yet but I'm sure that they are knowledgable and would assist any way they can.

formerly know as PPC Protect, now known as Lunio. we side by side user lunio as well and only problem with lunio was pricing. no doubt lunio has better feature set to stack against ClickGaurd but we didn't required that many features to begin with. ClickGaurd is simple solution for us and we are planning to explore it full before moving to any other platform

Ultimately went with Onfido due to previous experience with applications & products that had worked with Onfido and from research Onfido appeared to be one of the main providers in the space providing reassurance internally on use of relatively new technology. Onfido security and compliance was also standout helping pass internal audits by cybersecurity and legal. Downside with Onfido is that the pricing model is complex and relies on accurate predictions of platform/user growth to secure the best price-per-check which is challenging in a startup environment.

• Prior to acquiring Clickguard, I wasn't even able to trust the numbers I was seeing and my money was being wasted. Since getting this app, there has been a total turn around in conversions, and sales have increased.

• Strong ROI compared to manual alternatives
• Slightly unclear how Onfido ROI would be better/worse than competitors in the space - a lot of similar offerings out there
